I have similar unit with usb. Still wasn't happy with the signal so i fitted a proper roof antenna 2 cables n a 12v cable..question do i connect the 12v cable because the usb is supplying the the dab wit some sort of power. Doing my nut in this. Help

Not sure if the antenna you bought is for regular radio or for the DAB+ radio. Can check if it works without plugging the 12v cable since DAB+ is being powered by the USB already.

@vhedia6947 sorted it bud my cock up. When I fitted new antenna on the roof I managed to take a nick out of the 12v feed which then earthed itself. Anyway I isolated the red cable connected it to the ignition live not directly to the battery now works fine. Thank you for replying

I used to have a non branded headset like the one in this video running android 10 then later 11, it had DAB+ setup and working but the unit developed a fault and stopped working so I purchased a TETES CC3 2K to replace the faulty unit. It came with a new screen antenna (I have a good working DAB+ roof mount antenna). I loaded the APK used for the old unit on the CC3 2K but neither antenna shows a signal, I will try the DAB-Z you used in this video.

Hi, Yes the USB DAB you have might need a different app. Contact your brand of head unit you have. Cheers

can i know what is the android version of your testing head unit ? because when we test in Android 12, android 13, it not work in my side, if the android 11, or older version, it is ok.

ok, thanks. but all models we selling now have upgraded to android 13, that is real android 13, not fake, so, for this adapter, we have to stop to sell it now... that is why I ask you :) @@vhedia6947

If I already have dab on my standed head unit and if I upgrade to your head unit do I have to have the antenna on the wind screen and same with the gps ???

Hi Mate, We have the cables that will allow you to use factory GPS and DAB antenna just not 100% tested but should work fine. Just maybe the GPS will. not be as good as our GPS but DAB should be ok. Cheers

Yes, mate. You'll need our DAB+ add-on and we also have our own GPS module to suit our head units.

Hi on my car dab radio I have 2 usb ports which one do I plug my into is it the 4 pin or 6 pin usb ports

Hey, mate. Can plug into any of the vacant USB ports. Best to tuck them in the glove box so you have easy access to them.

You can use a splitter with that

Hi, I am having trouble with this. I have the same DAB and followed all instructions. The antenna is earthed and other side mounted on windscreen, USB has blue light. I cannot pickup any channels, i tried scanning at different locations but having no success.

How good is your earth? Check with a multimeter if the earth on both ends of the cable are registring, I soldered a wire to the copper earth strap and then to a screw for better contact. The adhesive on the copper will block the quality of the earth as well.
