Nice video. Your model was definitely very comfortable but it was also great watching how you interacted with her, showed her how to look into the light on the landing etc. Great work.

Bare in mind that the fine tuning AF is not linked to what you see threw the viewfinder. That’s the issue with DSLRs…

@@clairesschoolofphotography1767 That's probably correct viewfinder dioptre adjustment. The proof of the AF Fine-Tune will be in the images themselves. 😉

When you say calibrate your camera are you referring to fine tuning your lenses? Did the 12px D3 have fine tune in the menu? I don’t recall my D700 having that option which doesn’t surprise me with a lowly pixel count. I would have avoided the white jumper, especially during the time of year when the sky is so stark.

love the images from the D3 but my clients think they need more megapixels these days ... 🦘

I would sooner have a razor sharp image from my D700 than a not so sharp image from my D800.
