I get why he did it but what I don’t understand is how he ever expected her to stay peacefully with him, knowing all that he did. Amazing edit, breaks my heart all over again, but beautifully executed!

I know right? The least he could do is let her go peacefully but he couldn’t let go of his “thing” in fear it’s claimed by someone else. His obsession killed her.

Never has a drama ever effected me with so much emotion. I watched it over and over wanting a different ending. I wanted there love to grow and become stronger, but it never happened. 💔🥺

i'll probably never watch this drama to avoid being sad lol

It's been almost a month since I've watched this and I still couldn't move on. I just can't seem to invest myself to any other dramas right now. Wonderful edit, you captured their feelings well here. 💔

the first 35 seconds had me so hard the piano in tune with it flicking back to each or their face i was bawling and had to stop it for a bit.

Thank you for this video. You captured their pain so good here😪. The main lead I found so handsome, the female lead looked like an angel. I was looking forward to their story and then he took revenge on danchi. Thought he'd have a change of heart or something, but no. I was like there's no chance for my ship now. Then they forget their memory and start over again. Hope comes back....... Untill politics and crown prince's ambitions drift them apart again. Memory comes back and it's all disastrous after that untill she dies and he's left a walking dead. Most tragic ship I have ever seen.

their story is one that can never be forgotten :'(

They didn't love the wrong person but fell in love on wrong time story of a grassland land princess and mainland prince deeper than the sea painful more than death

I understood his backstory but the fact he toyed with the hearts of two girls and never apologised never sat well with me. Further terrorising the girl he claims to love by letting her watch her supposed “lover” be murdered in front of her eyes was too much. He seriously cut all ties of redemption himself. His love turned obsession and cornered her to the edge of her death. I’ve never hated a male lead like this before. This is a great and heartbreaking editing dear. ❤️

Not trying to defend anyone but what else can you expect from a prince who was lonely his whole life? I hated him but I hated the emperor (his father) more

@@juliej728 I totally understand that dear. He was in a pitiful state and I do hate his father more who’s the root cause of all this mess (not that civil war could be avoided with so many sons) but that doesn’t mean I should comprehend his bad deeds. He indeed used both Xu Feng and SiSi for his ‘state of survival’. Even if I had told Xu Feng everything, she wouldn’t forgive him and let’s not forget SiSi already lost chance to marry someone else once she became his concubine so even if he told SiSi her life would be doomed. The problem is not that he killed the Danchi tribe but he did that after gaining their trust. He killed Gu Jian out of jealousy when he’s the only true blood relationship he’s left with from his mother’s side. All these gaining trust only to betray later situations are what I disliked about him although his schemes are perfect.

​​@@tbakhalid4781 Sese insisted to be his concubine even she knows she cant be his legal wife because shes not a princess. Her father brother were scheming just like her thats why he let her be. So he uses Sese as shield for Xiaofeng. He cant treat well Xiaofeng because it means she will be hurt or even die in the hands of his enemies

​@@tbakhalid4781it was Sese who inaisted with her ambition to marry into a royal, Li Chengyin. When she saw him worried searching for Xiaofeng when they were in the festival. Sese pretending to be kind offering to search together for XF. Sese knows LCY going to marry XF, still insisted to be the 2nd wife in illusion he love her. Sese saw the wsy he looked at XF when they found XF. she was not stupid

@@edenpalencia6724 seeing that you had to write two same comments within the time of same week, I thought by now you must have learned to comprehend my comment but it seems you and I haven't seen the same drama. If it was any other show then I would've agreed cause in other shows, concubines are indeed the delusional girls but in this show I have to disagree. He definitely did lead her on. SeSe only held onto the idea of marrying him because he gave her the impression in the first place. It was all part of his scheme since starting to get SeSe's family's support to overthrow his brother which would insure his own survival. In the process he himself would become crown prince which meant he'd have to marry Xu Feng (which wasn't really part of his plan but he didn't mind it anyways cause he was drawn to her). SeSe mostly turned scheming because of harsh palace life, in her eyes she was bearing all the bullying from the Empress because she thought it was for love. Xu Feng (more like her maids) made many mistakes which made SeSe think Xu Feng was being an evil official wife. If it was any other crown princess then her instigation might be true but only we as the audience knew that Xu Feng was innocent and was not like any typical official wife who's jealous of her husband's consort.

this is so good oh my god? the pain just comes back but im a sadist i love it

I have never watched the series as it has too much angst, only clips but this is the best I have seen, beautifully done.
