Cathy Dennis is such a talented singer-songwriter. Heck, she even co-wrote the theme to "American Idol"!

They don't make music videos like this anymore. Love it!

Just listening to the opening of this song gets me moving. There's some awesome music out there today in the 21st century but nothing compares to these early 90s gems!

I'm 32 now and I so agree! What a happy jam! I can't get enough of this song. I first heard it when i was 13 and it will always be a favorite. There's nothing out there today to even compare to the dance hits of the 90s

Graham please wait for me too. I need to pack a few suitcases because I'm not coming back. I was like five when this song came out. They would play it in the clubs on 80s nights and I would dance my ass off to this song.haha This was when I was old enough to go clubbing. Good times.

This was towards the end of a great era of music.. what a great track

Cathy Dennis was a totally underrated artist. She wrote some of the best songs of pop music back in the 80's

Even though this was released 1989 PLEASE bring the 90s back! Those were the BEST OF TIMES! Cathy Dennis will forever RULE & so will the 90s :-)

This was when I knew house was here to stay one of the defining tracks of every club everywhere. Not to mention launching Cathy Dennis' career.

I believe this was the very first song that I ever heard by Cathy Dennis! Along with CeCe Peniston, she was one of the big divas of dance music in the early '90s and made quite a few dance songs that hit big in 1990 and 1991. I didn't have MTV until later in 1990 but I do remember this music video being aired on that channel long after it left the charts in early 1990 and was one of the favorite dance music videos that they played throughout the early '90s! :-) I like the music video too - reminds me a lot of Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" music video! :-) Although her biggest hit was "Touch Me (All Night Long)", this was definitely one of my favorite songs by her and certainly one of the best dance songs of the early '90s! :-) #CATHYDENNISFEATURINGDMOBCMONANDGETMYLOVE

WOW, I never realized that this song was by Cathy Dennis! I knew her Just Another Dream and All Night Long hits from the 90s, but radio stations still occasionally play this song. While her other two big hits only appear on iTunes radio, or Pandora.

Arturo Caceres This is actually the only song I've heard of Cathy Dennis surprisingly. Since this song didn't really hit our top charts in the USA until 1990, the next wave of early 90s music may have dwarfed her next hits ig. But best believe I'll be looking up more of her top songs you just mentioned.
