    As an engineer, I agree with a lot of your analysis. But the truth is we are dealing with art people, they play by a different rulebook. Sometimes they only need it for one very specific thing. I could see a lot of these projects being used for KZread videos. Especially stuff like food or flowers in resin. Some people will burn $$$ just for a one-time use themed party piece, would be big at weddings.

    Genuinely surprised by the bullet through egg craft. Never thought they'd actually do something visually kind of cool,

    Having watched you make your own resin art projects I find it hard to believe that the last one you liked could've been made in just 5 minutes. But yeah it didn't look bad. Always love these vids

    Oh yeah there is literally no way these Resin art projects took 5 minutes , Standard 2 part epoxy resin has usually has a 12 hour cure time and UV resin can take a long time depending on the amount you are trying to cure.

    Many fun moments through but my favorite's gotta be: "I'm trying to analyze stupidity; why am I doing this?" It's okay. We've all been there and asked ourselves the same question. LOL

    I would give higher marks to the hair necklace. It's October after all. A weird hair spiderweb-looking necklace is in. But only for October! After Hollween I'm putting that lady in the loony bin!

    I would wear the paracord bracelet, but it would get heavy during long hikes/backpacking. Other tools like grommets might be more useful for camping/survival, but nuts might be OK for self defense....maybe. Thanks for another entertaining video.

    Cool vid. What always fascinates me about 5-minutes-craft is how many tools they actually use. If you have to buy all of these - good grief, this will get very expensive (apart from the fact that if you follow some of their "instructions" there is a good chance you burn down your house). Really just good for some entertainment.

    Plastic can age. Ask anyone who has worked on a first two years Wahl-Eversharp Skyline fountain pen, or an Esterbrook CH. Both get both softer and brittle at the same time. I think both were some sort of pyralin plastic or PVC. (I'd send you a couple, if i had more than 1 early Wahl-Eversharp Skyline that's survived, and shipping from the US wasn't too much for this guy's disability income. 😁)

    I mean you can melt an expired credit card. Also on your spoon analogy, as a crafter in disapointed. As a smith making spoons is fun and you cant get a spoon like that for $1.50

    I'm not familiar with using resin. But i'm interested in it. Is there a good clear resin that stays transparent? I've seen that some resins turns yellow after some time, and that's what's putting me off from using it.

  • @TYRANTH_

    @TYRANTH_

    Usually most resin turns yellow over the course of time simply because of UV basically the sun, I’m not sure there’s any resin that won’t discolour Atleast a little bit over time 👍🏼

    I usually have the same reaction with those 5 minute craft videos. WHY? 🤣 Nice and fun video Tyranth. By the way, would you mind having a little look at our latest music video? Would like to have your opinion on it. It's being played on a radio station in Canberra by the way. 😉 Musical greetings from Belgium (Europe), Gunther (singer and lyrics writer of Gabriel Scar)
