@@saveit4last Recently a documentary came out about 'We are the World' on Netflix. It's called 'The greatest Night in Pop', and there the say they picked Lauper over Madonna because they thought only one teenage oriented star (this is how they were perceived) was enough and they picked Lauper because she can sing and Madonna can't. Btw, it was BS to snub Madonna, because she was clearly an icon.

Her voice is unique and fantastic. But, for me the best, is that she makes that this ageless hit released in 1983 still makes the audience to have a lot fun every time you listen this melody.
