This is most of the first track of the Mars Volta's LP, Frances the Mute. If you like it, why not buy the album?

The ocean floor is hidden From your viewing lens A depth perception Languished in the night All my life,I've been Sowing the wounds But the seeds sprout A lachrymal cloud Nino preparate Que vas sufrir Nino preparate Salte veneno Nino preparate Salte de aqui Nino preparate Labios temblando Nino preparate Salte veneno Nino preparate Salte de aqui Nino preparate Brincan los cuerpos Vas a sufrir My nails peel back When the taxidermist ruined Goose stepped the freckling impatience All the brittle tombs Five hundred little q's I'm splitting hairs to Match the faces All night I'll hunt for you Let me show you what I mean Sangre Sonando De rabia naci Now this train don't lie An abortion that survived A lineage of Bastard mastacation All the severed proof Talons scratch my suite These are the feathers That replace them All night I'll hunt for you Let me show you what I mean Sangre Sonando De rabia naci Who do you trust Will they feed us the womb Chrome the fetal mirage Will they feed us the womb I found the remnants Of a crescent fang It cleaned my wing Down to the bone Umbilical syllables Left to decode There was no cradle I can taste it Come on now All night I'll hunt for you Let me show you what I mean Sangre Sonando De rabia naci Who do you trust Will they feed us the womb Chrome the fetal mirage Will they feed us the womb Bring me this plague She took a drink Those nicotine stains On his every word My scavenger quilt Will only hide the truth Bring me Bring me this plague I count the days to find What was left behind Only these names I clutch Will lead me to my home Somehow this river marks A wrinkle hand in mine And everyday that parts The water into two Mothers and feathers start To drown the living proof I can't remember these lakes of blood Wrapped in a blanket There sweats a cut Who do you trust Will they feed us the womb Chrome the fetal mirage Will they feed us the womb
best drug ever.
I turned the volume up at the start coz I thought it was a quiet song. Then BAM! FUCKING AWESOME!
4.19min is epic!!!
El inicio de mi album favorito
This song is so great on so many levels.... and the VERY last song on this album ties directly to this song, I love it!
i dont understand why frances the mute(the song) isnt on the album before this song. its such an amazing song.
Bring me !! BRING ME THIS PLAGE !!!

I was skepticall until THAT FUCKING DROP
Yea man! Spot on! Early "The Mars Volta" is the best music I've ever heard.
In my opinion the first 3 albums are unreal!!
I know what your talking about !!!! My favorite of all times I can jam to this all day !!!
Man, fuck easy listening; this is the music I want to listen to while I work.
the sickest song i've ever heard!!!
Shouldn't have edited the 'field recording' bits off, but, still, what a fucking track...
Este es el sonido de la música de marte....
This is perfection.
best solo part i've ever heard in a song....
The lyrics are just pure excellence. The Widow got me so emotional.
i didnt just to understand english and i still love this songs now that i do shitttt i cant stop listening to them i luv tmv
obra maestra!
Not in a million years. Jon's grooves were perfect for the band. Deantoni and Pridgen are great drummers but they couldn't fill the gap. After Amputechture it was all downhill.

I'll never forget the first time I listened to this song. What. The. Fuck. Feel like there's some Santana Jingo in there. When I think of best TMV tracks, this is always top-of-the-mind.

cool
I have to this this stuff
@JUSTIN030783 Well, this was uploaded in '09. After '06 or '07 people couldn't say they were a director anymore, which meant you have to be granted special privileges to upload videos longer than 10 minutes. Cygnus is a 12 and half minute track, and the last few minutes are synth and ambiance. A lot of tracks on Frances the Mute are like that, like The Widow.
@gr8tr1522 Yeah, definitely go with De-loused in the Comatorium. They're debut album and best yet.
fuk yeaH lovin tmv they the shit on da reals best alternative music i ever heard offf
dem boys are gatdamn jaynius, bo
Post-Hardcore my friend
I've scoured every HMV i know for this album; the one Mars Volta album i don't have, and NONE of them sell this one :/ But it seems like an amazing album. And yes i'm aware of downloads but i want the actual CD. xD
such an epic fucking song
@cognitive951 They're great! Really REALLY great! The question is, what album do i get next?
3:20 noooooooooooooia
thanks for the heads up, i get the names mixed up for some odd reason XD
Why would they leave? The intro is awesome.
ALL ABOUT 3:20
@imjustkidding24 Didn't they end up not having enough space on the album for Frances The Mute?
@piratejames11 I assume because it would have been too much to fit on one disc, but I still listen to it first regardless.
WILL THEY FEED US THE WOOOOMB?!?!?!?!?!!?!?
What the fuck? How come i've never heard of these guys before?
all of it is.
Who do you trust?
i found this from roblox and listened to all there songs, i love this band but my dad apparently listens to this too :/

good! you can use this band as a way to bond with him! its alright to hold appreciation for your parents.
Absolute zonkers
Jon Theodore is the fucking god!
@juggernaut725 WILL THEY FEED US THE WOMB?
They didn't get rid of him, he left because he basically said the band had run it's course.
Bullfisted membrane enduring caveats in euphoric adiaphanes....
Will they feed us the womb!!!
Thomas Pridgen is my favorite drummer, but Jon Theodore made the best mars volta albums, not pridgen. Deloused and Frances were absolute musical monsters on their own. Bedlam had the sickest drumming, but I hated the songs themselves. that's just my opinion though.

I just hated the drumming... Nah. But that gospel chops drumming is very impressive and all but I'm just not getting the feel of it. Also the sound in general, guitar sound mainly, started to get too "metal" at that point.

I remember seeing them on tour for Frances at the Santa Barbara Bowl and there was freaking steam coming off of Theodore. Made him look like he was on fire :D One of the most amazing concerts I’ve ever been to.

Now imagine this but all the artists were to keep secret their individual parts and had to play only to a metronome. That's how this record was made.
