instead of my doctor completely taking me off this medication and acting like it never exists me taking it, on a side note I would love it if doctor's would send videos to to your email like hey here's some tips on your medication that can be helpful to you, that can educate people of what there taking because not all the time the doctor has time to explain nor do the paper that comes with your prescription your going to read everything or understand it like this video it was broken down so beautiful! this was very helpful thank you!

I was in an accident a month ago, had a dislocated shoulder and other things. The Doctor give me this cyclobenzaprine and I took one before bed. The next morning I woke up my body started contracting like I was having a seizure. I've never experienced anything like it before. It happened twice since.

@@mutechannel13 You’ll be ite, best to start with lowest dose possible. I take them occasionally for back pain, worst side effect is dry mouth. Keep a bottle of water nearby lol

I take small doze of phenobarbitol and phenytoin for controlled epilepsy. Do you have any information as to whether or not I can take this for severe back pain.

You’re not supposed to drink alcohol with them but I drink jack daniels and I’ve never had a problem.

I was prescribed some from my doctor for low back pain dint feel anything woke up the same way not sure why so many negative comments about them

I agree, do NOT DRINK while using any kind of meds, i should know, when i was young i drink while taking hydros, ive OD and almost took my life, i do not blame the drinking or meds, i blame for my own stupidity.

What type of bile and gall bladder issues? How does it affect this?

Allergic to tricyclics and on two antidepressants at high levels ...neuro surgeon had this on my chart . had many severe side effects ended up hospitalized horrible persistent diarrhea , GI pain , gas ,headache, dizziness my skin still burns , rite leg “wooden “, garbage taste and smell, stopped eating got very very scary crazy ,didn’t recognize anyone , visual distortion, agitation anxiety still have lingering effects 3 weeks hospitalized. I didn’t know it was closely related to tricyclics . Pharmacy knows my drug allergies but yet I just started to put it in prospective. Still having some of the strangest severe headaches ,fatigue ,increased heart rate . WTH? Can u help

my fibromyalgia is so bad but 10mg is doing nothing anymore. I tried stopping it and I got severe depression and more pain. what are the ways that you get off this med? do you have to reduce your dose slowly?

Yes, you have to wind yourself down. Break them in half and reduce the amount u take each day. Also try marijuana, that helped me get off some psych meds that I couldn't just hop off of!

I take 5mg for interstitial cystitis, pelvic floor dysfunction, vaginismus, and PCOS and it is practically a miracle drug for me when my pain isn't over a 5/10

I’m a bit late to the party, and excuse my late entrance/ and troll name... but what do you know about pregnant women taking this? A doctor prescribed my wife with 10mg after she was t-boned.. but she was about 4 months pregnant. She never took it tho, due to fear of any effect on the pregnancy.. so we dumped them. And it’s no longer a concern, but I see so many different things about it, and you sound like you actually know lol. (Not an insult in any way) lol thank you for the video.

Diazepam is a benzodiazepine (a sedative and anti-anxiety medication) and cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant, with some of the same effects but it is used for almost an entirely different issue.

@Bangarang 1 Grind hemp flower with a hybrid or indica. The CBD in hemp will take away jitters, paranoia, etc. All that’s left is calm , blissful pain relief. Many like a 1:1 ratio for a therapeutic high.

how do you not know when you get side effects? you'll know, are you that out of tune ? this stuff is not worth it either, it's a failed antidepressant. just do real drugs like benzos, Opiates, weed, and alcohol. AKA any popular downer, all of them help with pain and anxiety. cyclobenzaprine shouldn't even be legal, its nasty and it has anticholinergic side effects which are extremely unpleasant. I took it once for a buzz and it was the worst idea I ever made, you feel horrible for like a day straight after taking just 5 mgs of it which is all I took...it's easily the most unpleasant drug I've ever felt. it feels like what would happen if you took benadryl while high on meth.

I have tinnitus, I don’t take it for that reason, but I found that it does nothing. This muscle relaxer relaxes the whole body, I would closely describe it as if you’re night without being high

So I had my covid vaccine in late August of last year. I was prescribed cyclobenzaprine in early September for muscle spasms in my neck/shoulder. Then I got my flu shot mid November on a Friday and I remember the ringing starting the weekend after I got that. Don’t know if it was from one of the vaccines but I’m kind of wondering if the medication has anything to do with it. I have sleeping issues so I take it here and there when I’m running low on sleep. I don’t think I’ve gone more than 2 weeks without taking it in around 10 months. So I’m going to try and go a month without it to see if it has any effect on the ringing. It definitely affects my mood for a day or 2 after I take it as well so that’s another reason why I need to take a break

There is not an interaction between the two medications and they can be taken together. However the cyclobenzaprine may affect heart rate.

@@alexmontoya216 10mg knocks me out after about 30min-1 hrs depending if I’m on an empty stomach. Thinking about taking 20mg, but I wouldn’t do it if you work the next day or having something to do. For me I wake up super drowsy the next day on 10mg alone

This cyclobenzaprine stuff seems like it not only has the potential to totally ruin a person but you won't even enjoy being on it. so much better ideas for muscle relaxation.

this is the nastiest drug in existence next to benadryl. I foolishly was expecting a benzo like buzz, it's like a really gross benadryl buzz and a really gross Prozac feeling combined. Smoke weed or drink liquor or pop Opiates for pain, Kava is also an amazing muscle Relaxant that is extremely safe and doesn't feel like total garbage. I would not recommend literally anyone to be on this stuff
