Easy to install and to use

Hello. The isofix locking arms of this isofix base are able to rotate about 180 degrees. They lock properly at the isofix anchorage point of the car, the indicators at the isofix locking arms turn green as they should. But after proper click-lock, the isofix locking arms are still able to rotate for some degrees, thus the base is able to move upwards for a reasonable amount of degrees if you put your hand at the bottom of the base and push it upwards. I mean with this upwards movement the loading leg can lose its touch with the floor. The base is locked, it does not go in or out, it does not go left or right, but it can still go upwards as mentioned above. Most of isofix bases have locking arms that are not able to rotate, thus the base cannot move upwards. Could you please clarify if this is acceptable?

Hi! Many thanks for your kind request. Attaching the child seat to the vehicle’s ISOFIX anchorage points creates a solid connection between the seat and the vehicle. This means that the forces of impact created in a collision move from the body of the car to the seat which, in turn, absorbs the energy. Using the seat in conjunction with the ISOFIX system ensures that the seat is installed in the vehicle safely and securely. The rotatable ISOFIX connectors are part of the safety concept and can accommodate variations in size and geometry of different cars. The rigidity of the seat is designed in such a way that the forces in a collision are absorbed as gently as possible. This may give rise to the false impression that the seat is not firmly attached to the vehicle. Hi - I’ve adjusted the headrest too much. How do I pull it back in its original position?

Hello, thank you for choosing CYBEX for you and your family! To adjust the headrest of the Aton B2, reach behind the headrest where there is a lever, pull it slightly upwards and push the headrest downwards. This movement adjusts the headrest downwards.

What is the difference between the Aton 2 and Aton B2? If my stroller is compatible with the Aton 2 will it be with the Aton B2 as well? Thanks!

The Aton B2 i-Size in combination with the Base One complies with the requirements of the UN R129 standard (i-Size), whereas the Aton 2 is approved in compliance with the UN R44 standard. Furthermore, the Aton B i-Size is tested and certified for use on aircraft. Additionally, the Aton B2 i-Size has an upgraded 11-position height-adjustable headrest, which grows with your child and the car seat is very easy to handle outside the car, weighing just 3. 8 kg. @@cybexglobal Thank you for the reply but it doesn't quite answer my question. I have an UPPABABY Vista 1 stroller with the adapter that is compatible with the Cybex Aton, Aton 2, Aton Q, Aton M. Does that mean that it is also compatible with the Aton B2? Thank you.

Unfortunately, we do not measure compatibility with other brands, so we cannot advise you in this matter with certainty. You can try contacting UPPABABY, but personally I would recommend you to ask about and test compatibility in a specialist shop where they sell both products you want to compare.

Yes! The Base One is indeed compatible with both of these infant car seats.

Is there a way to have the seat belt go under the padding so it isn't in the way of babies feet?

Hello there! Thank you for your question 🙂 When installing a car seat without a base, you must follow exactly the instructions in this tutorial and in your car seat manual. If you want to get rid of the seat belt, then you can use the Aton B2 i-Size infant car seat with Base One.
