I did my sons nursery in black and white, and have Christmas lights around the top of his room 😂. My husband told me his room looked boring, so I had to explain to him how stimulating those things are to his little baby brain. I’m so excited to watch him grow and develop when he gets here in about a week ❤️
I’m on my 3rd baby. I think most of us just do these things naturally without knowing how we are helping their brain grow. Nice to see it explained. Great video!

I'm watching this video because when my little brother was born I was kinda young and didn't understand what to do with him lol but now In about a month I'm going to have a little sister and I want to be the best big sister for her 😊
Praying that everyone falls asleep quickly and has a peaceful sleep. Hope you all wake up happy and well rested 👍👍👍
Awesome! Being a father of a newborn, I really appreciate the simple ways you have shown for the baby development. They are easy to do and very much logical, I'll definitely try them out. Thanks!
I loved this video I have a 2 week new born and this inspires me to interact more with him
Me watching this after just having my second. I’ve been doing these things and not even realize I’m doing it! I guess it’s just natural to a mom!😍

My son will be born this month. I’m so excited to do all of this with him soon!
I’m glad I’ve been doing most of these with my second baby as I did with my first…something I had no idea was that sneezing is a sign of overstimulation! It makes so much sense since she always sneezes after a long period of activity. Thanks for this video and that tip!

Thank you so much! I had really started to hit a dead end and run out of ideas of how to interact with my.son as he reached that one month mark, and this has introduced some new activities I think he will really like! I tend to be a very reserved person so showing sincere exaggerated faces and emotions to him is something I am struggling to get comfortable with. The positivity of this video really encouraged me to keep at it and not give up.
My baby boy is 6 weeks old - I feel he understands me already 😌
I’ve just become a father for the first time and can’t wait to try some of these activities with her to help stimulate and aid in her development
This is a lifesaver for my child development class -much love, a HS senior
Playing with a newborn baby is one of the greatest pleasures of life. You are so lucky. Someday I'll be a father too. But first I need to find a girlfriend hehe.
Thank you for this. I have trouble seeing things from a baby's perspective and this really helped. As a new dad I will be watching all of your videos.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and I want so badly to do everything I can to help her grow and thrive and experience joy from her very first moment.
My baby started to smile and make noises (coo's) a little before her two months. I noticed her trying to communicate around 1 month ☺.
Twins!! They came two months early! I'm so tired , so very very tired. Haed work but so in love
Thank you so much for sharing. My Aurora is about to be born and I want to know how to stimulate her properly. I am brazilian and also an english teacher, so I have decided that I will speak only in english with her, and her mother will do it in portuguese, I hope that this help her to lern both languages at once. I am really exited with this.

I have a 2.5 week old, and I cant leave her out of her swaddle for more than 3 min before she gets upset 😂. She flails a lot and constantly startles herself. Hopefully I can do more of this as she gets older! I'd love to actually let her stretch/touch things. Such good ideas tho!

Interesting! Can't wait to try with my baby. But what if the baby would like to play at midnight? Should we play with them or ask them to sleep (which hard to do since the baby is fresh and doesn't give any signs of tired)
@TaylorRaine
2 жыл бұрын
Congratulations on the new baby! If it were me, I would try to keep the play to the day time hours. It takes a week or so for the baby to align their schedule to the regular world. Keep things light and bright in the day and keep it dark and quiet throughout the night. They will get the flow soon enough :)
For the new moms out there, remember that a mother’s joy begins when new life is stirring inside; when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone 💗
