I love how extememly important and unbelievably necessary Nomads are. Night City would NOT be where it is now without them

@@brianstiles1701 it's strange, I played 2077 first and then a year later got really into the lore after reading the sourcebook for RED and at that point i felt like 2077 was pretty lackluster in its execution after seeing Pondsmith's rendition, even though i loved the game at launch.

Ive been wanting to get the game since it was announced but when it launched I was going through some financial troubles so I just watched, read, and listened to everything lore related I could get my hands on and then just finally got the game last week and im in heaven. I spent a week playing and only just last night did the arasaka hiest and got Johnny in my head. It's so fuckin awesome every second of it, I could just wander the streets for days on end. I found a npc who plays guitar and they fully animated him playing it down to the fingerling of the chords and picking the right strings. He plays a electronic guitar unplugged with no amp and the audio track is played on a electric guitar with no amp. It's so accurately animated that I was able to pick up my real guitar and follow along with him, spent like 4 hours jamming with this guy and he's a no name npc that 99.9% of people will miss. If anyone wants to see him he is at the kabuki arena where you fight the twins during Beat on the Brat. So damn amazing 💜🖤💜
really puts into prospective some of the story elements of 2077. Interested to see more.

Not really, considering that Argentina went back again toward the martial law, which the argentinian ambassador had to sell *everything* so he can go into Hiding, which it's the reason why you get the most expensive in-lore car in the world by cheap in the in-game lol
These videos are underrated. They've added alot more context to the world of the game I've been really invested in and addicted to for the past few weeks, making my playthrough even more enjoyable, so thanks for that and you did good work on these. Your really good at conveying the lore and your voice really suits the Cyberpunk vibe aswell btw.
Thanks for making it ❤ your videos on the Cyberpunk lore are the best
Hey man! I just found your channel and I had a few pints, so I feel inclined to say a few words. First of all - love your work - I watch a lot of lore videos from many different franchises One thing though many have in common, is that you guys apolegize for making "long videos" I can tall you right now - no one comes in to a Lore video and expect to hear "these are the bad guys and these are the good guys. that's it, thanks for watching" I would LOVE these videos to be 1.5 hours PLUS! Give it all you got man! Keep it up! Personally I rarely watch any lore videos of any franchise, whatever it might be, that are less that 40 minutes long. It's just not enough time to go itno the details and soak up the background stories. If I got to make a wish > I would love to listen to a 1 hour video of KANG TAO corporation and a deep dive into their different weapons! Again - great work! Hoping for a real deep-dive the next time! o/

100%, this. I love long form lore videos.
Well the story of Arasaka tower ties in to the story in game, this would imply however that Silverhand was working with the US Gov, I wonder if we get to see that connection in upcoming expansion to the game.
@xinniethep00h
Жыл бұрын
That’s kind of the ironic thing in the Johnny Silverhand story. He hates corporations, specifically Arasaka so much he was willing to do whatever to bring them down. Militech took advantage of this and gave him the tools needed to complete his plan in bombing Arasaka. In the end Johnny was really just being used as a pawn by the corporations he so despised to do their bidding. Plus it is said in the game that what you see through Silverhands eyes during those missions isn’t exactly the truth of how things went down.
@ct9564

@@xinniethep00h Yes, it was the far cooler and badass Morgan Blackhand who was in the team (Teams A & B) that had the bomb. He was also the one who had an epic fight with Adam Smasher (Blackhand is mostly meat) and after the dust settled Smasher came out and Blackhands whereabouts or state is unknown. Its seems as though Smasher killed him, though theyve squared off before with Blackhand able to escape/elude him.
@oldylad

@@ct9564heard this theory and it makes the most sense to me. Basically, Johnny was caught and had his soul ripped. Afterwards (and what we see in game) Blackhand is caught by smasher, and everything after is him. Basically, Johnny was put onto the chip and some of Blackhand memories got mixed in. Reason they aren’t both present in memories prior is because they were both there. The relic can only effectively hold the one engram, but black hands memories being on there as well would explain things and fit the lore
I like cyberpunk even if everyone else dogs on it. Like these lore videos too.

Yeah, the game is kind of a weird island in the lore, where by 2077 a lot of things have actually sort of reverted to what they were like in the 2020 setting. Cyberpunk Red wasn’t released until last fall, so there probably wasn’t that much they could do about it, but still I think the 2045 setting sounds a lot more interesting.

Hey choomba quality content! Thanks! Though I have a question to ask you. I'm building my own Cyberdeck here in the real. Glad you enjoyed it! Basically the war was fought all in orbit, mostly between the Americans and Soviets. I couldn’t find any images for it specifically, but if you want to see what the spaceships look like roughly you might look for scans of the Deep Space sourcebook. That has the best images of ships and space gear for the 2020 setting.

@@MrLittlePredator Because they use a word that is similar to a real word except it's very badly written. Not because of a typo, but because of someone trying to make an adjective out of a noun but failing. It may not be very clear so here's an example : imagine a company that has in its name "gamation" instead of "gaming".
