I think Cyberpunk Edgerunners depicts a theme of a dystopian nightmare lures in victims with dreams and promises, and by chasing it they start to realize what's truly important to them.

After finishing the series and experiencing so many emotions from the rollercoaster it was, this was what I needed. Amazing video, deserves more attention.

i think the main reason why lucy dream was to go to the moon because of how obviously terrible living on earth is, but i dont think it was her end dream goal the end dream goal was change to being on the moon to sharing it with the person they loved and that clearly did not happen, leaving her feeling empty but will continue on because that what david would of wanted to keep being alive not just for herself but for david too

Love how the editor is getting there own thoughts though as well. XD but man it is sad knowing that the world is kinda like the world of cyberpunk. With its lows. As always you have a good insight to these shows. Thanks for making this review.

Ngl it makes me wanna check the game out again.

have to admit, the anime felt proper with its dystopia. Although yeah have to admit, no dream for david felt a bit empty as a character.

I don’t think it necessarily made his character empty, but rather tragic that he didn’t get a chance to figure out a dream for himself, which I think is what cyberpunk was going for. But that’s just my interpretation.
