Quick pro tip: when painting do all of your corner panels first then hit the panels direct… works every time 😅

Good call on spraying the engine bay. Now the car is perfect! The mismatch paint would’ve bothered you down the road. Better to knock it out now, and it didn’t look like it was too hard either. Can’t want to see you start fully assembling it now.

Killer job Mark! That E30 will be a heart stopper. When it comes to the rack & pinion will you just clean it up or paint it? Last question, I noticed when you were sealing your last parts you painted you didn’t seal the rockers. Is that because they were close enough at being the red you wanted?

I’m getting a new rack from newer car for better handling. And yes they pretty much matched the car I just wanted them to be protected with sikkens clear coat 👌🏻

I had a feeling the engine bay might come back to bite you. Anyway it'll look good when all finished. My only gripe is....those gold wheels don't do it for me. It's not my car though, you enjoy it, the E30 M3 were a weapon.

It may be a trick of the camera with the lighting, but it looks like your front passenger door is an entirely different shade of red from the rest of the car
