I am sure Larry is appreciative that you brought it back to life. Sometimes, you need a kick start to get some projects going again. Nice memories for you and your future father-in-law.

How many layers of paint did you use? And why do you have to keep sanding down the bodywork?
@jordanbest3926
Ай бұрын
For the level of finish they are going for on this car it has to be laser straight before paint goes on. The various sandings are finding high/low spots and correcting. Otherwise with the level of gloss on the final finish they would stick out immediately. Not sure on the paint. Looks like 2 coats of base and 2-3 coats of clear coat.

You finished your Mustang before V Tuned's.

Nice job! But that is a 68 Mustang, not a 67. OK, So it was a 67 and you put 68 quarter panels on it? I should have watched until the end. You put the 67 parts on a 68 shell?

It is a 67, it just has the vents deleted on the side and modified to be more pronounced

stupid question why paint the whole car before putting the engine and transmission in instead of only painting the areas needed= finishing the drive-train tunnel underneath and the engine bay so you dont risk destroying all that finished work= the new 5-10+ thousand dollar paint job just curious...

21:18 Mark I think you’re a great guy and I love what you do but please try to wear a full body suit no matter how hot it is number one number two a full face bodysuit because the chemicals you work with can go into your eyes as well as the pores of your skin I’m 46 and suffering from it now

Unfortunately most of these KZread rebuilder guys don’t use PPE. Probably in 20 years they will also appreciate what you appreciate now…
