Nuthatches are wonderful little birds that any birder should love!

It does NOT get cuter than this! I love how much Lentil trusts you. What an incredible bond and relationship you have with this bird (and each bird!). While nuthatches may be common, I think they're one of my favourite birds. The way nuthatches go head down on trees is just so cute.

One of the most fun birds to watch.

Whenever there are chickadees, these nuthatches friends are not far away. And then, you have a cardinal too that keeps a bit its distance but observes everything.

It must be a really nice sensation to feel those tiny feet on your arm😊

I love how she's just ..... nope, nope, nope. OK - this one. Nope, nope, nope. LoL she is so very sweet and what an absolute thrill it must be to have a relationship with wild birds!!! Thank you Lesley!!!

Oh, sweet little Lentil 😍 I rescued two wrens from a murdercat this morning. It's not the same as having a bird willingly land on your hand.

Absolutely amazing in every way . The birds in my yard trust me and fly and land on me while I fill up the 2 feeders in my yard. The Nuthatches & Chickadee's flock to me and do the same thing lentil does to you. Animals know when you love them and worry about them. I have 2 birds in my home a Ringneck Parakeet and a Green cheek Conure. They are my buddies and house husbands lol. I never throw their seed away I save it and plant it out in a big circle I have in my yard and grow black cap Sun Flowers and other things that the birds outside love to eat during mid to late summer and Fall. i try not to waist anything at all. But I Iove following your channel as it always brings a smile. Ty keep up the great work that you do

One of the things I love about moving to CT from NYC is the birds I get to see and feed in my yard! Especially hearing them in the spring, total heaven!

Awesome. I finally got my Chickadee, Buck, and two of his friends to eat from my hand now. And as a bonus, I had one Nuthatch take a seed from my hand. Now, Buck is the smallest, yet most inquisitive and bravest in the bunch so far. So, I had to give him a name. He's always the first to come see me, then the others follow. Thanks, Leslie, for being an inspiration!
