Bears are Omnivores, meaning that as opportunists (remember Yogi the Bear who loved foraging from picnic baskets) they eat everything, but predominately they are Herbivores, foraging greenery and berries. Part of foraging greenery, is grazing, eating flowers and the like. :)

I recently got to feed and pet a baby black bear. They are very very fuzzy

Aw they're so tiny this is soo cute but it's kinda scary. Where I live there are no bears around. I can't imagine being outside with your young children on the playground knowing a bear can come up from behind any second

Actually it's because that's a black bear. They often eat bark, berries, etc...

Bears forage and graze on greenery, berries, flowers, leaves, etc., being predominately herbivores, not just omnivores. qpae, I hope you were joking, because if not, you're silly.

Super great watch them with a video, black bears are not hard to coexist with, as long as we never feed them and lock up our garbage it is rarely a problem bear but someone who is careless with their garbage in Whistler.

Last summer a woman in New Mexico was mauled by a black bear. She was just sitting on a porch at a lodge and the bear ran up to her and attacked her. Fortunately her husband helped her get away, but she ended up in the hospital with broken bones, punctured lung, many animal bites. They ARE hard to coexist with, and quit with the Disney fantasy crap.

@good life Sadly, that's true. Too many humans in this culture think we have the right to take whatever land we want, no matter who is already living there. Then we usually proceed to trash it.

Me wonders if the animal rights activists would claim the helicopter was too low. Think of all the people that sh*thole disrupted while flying so low.

One day we're all going to die. Heaven and hell are real. All of u guys need to repent (stop sinning) . Ask God to forgive u for all of ur sins. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. have a personal relationship with God by reading the bible and praying to him. start living a godly life. life is about glorifying God and living a life like Jesus, full of love. if u arent born-again or dont have the holy spirit living inside of u, then u wont make it to heaven. Jesus offers eternal life to the repentant sinner. when ur born-again, u have a changed heart and a changed mind. when the holy spirit is inside of u, u no longer like to sin. it hurts u to sin and makes u cry. read the bible starting in John and read luke 15 :-) we get to heaven by having faith in Jesus. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross but that doesnt give u the right to continually sin because ull be blaspheming him and nailing Jesus back on the cross and ull deserve ur own punishment in hell
