I hear what you are saying but some people work so many hours they don't have the time to do the work themselves. At least he is spending his money on keeping a classic on the road not just buying a new car like his buddies. There is a different feeling between spending months fixing up your car vs spending 10 seconds signing a cheque.

I worked in a engine building shop. Blue printing a motor means taking to exact factory specs. However if they balance it also they are awesome. 👍🏿

So it's bought and not built 😢 Must be nice to pay someone to work on such an easy car to DIY.$$$

Wonder what will happen to these old beauties as the male Boomer generation dies out. The majority of younger guys don't have the interest in muscle cars or even motorcycles for that matter. Its a shame.
