My 2020 is basically a new bike. Only suspension needs updating (next project!), all over 4 years and 3,000 miles: to -HTZ i35 wheels, the OEM was pulling spokes out of rim. - SQlab 12 degree rear sweep handle bars. Great for numb hands! -AXS shifters with 10-52 rear cogs -“Purple” Hayes brakes. Maybe the most important upgrade. Fingertip brake modulation. -with purple theme….Hope purple 36t front chainring so I live in lower gears on the flat. -Hope purple 155 cranks…to. Save my aging knees! And looks sweet! -Old Man Mountain rear rack, with solid axle upgrade, for camping and shopping -SQlab 170 Activ saddle. Very sweet. -AXS Reverb dropper post. All in all, it is a new, and WAY improved bike. If the frame ever fails, I am grabbing a frame set, I will never match this bike off the shelf! That is what is cool about the LEVO, very upgradable! Nice upgrades! my wife is also on the Gen 2 2020 Levo.. the bike is still going strong!

I’m a heavier guy(240lbs). So for my Levo alloy I swapped out the Fox 36 with a Zeb ultimate with buttercups. I swapped out the float x with a Cane Creek DB coil with Springdex.

Awesome upgrades. Been thinking about a coil for the fork, but the rattling sound could be a deal breaker.

Thank you Danny! you can definitely hear some rattling. But the sound is distinct so you know it’s the springs.

Great job! So you went with Spank vibra core Hndl Brs I think I am going to go with this recommendation because the vibra core seems to give you the advantage of carbons vibration dampining while also giving you the advantage of aluminums bend before it cracks characteristic. Was this your thinking?

Yes exactly the vibration dampening is so worth and aluminum gives more compliance than carbon bars and they are cheaper!

are the stock rims really rovals? or just specialized unbranded rims? i have the same bike and would love to know if it actually came with rovals!

Question, do you feel you would do any better with carbon frame? I have the same bike, but I'm 6'2" and 235lbs, so I'm on s5. I went all out, just got traverse alloy wheelset, zeb ultimate, and vivid ultimate with levo tune. Also went to 170mm fork and cascade link in rear, which is now 160mm. Its -35 degrees here, guess i will find out this spring.

Nice setup! You will have loads of fun once spring comes around. Carbon is definitely great to have and it does help save you a little bit of weight. But I don’t feel like it’s that significant on ebikes. The aluminum frame performs just as good as carbon with a little more compliance with a bit softer touch

3:31 Can I have the measurements of the shock. Great video. I converted my levo 2022 AL to a dirty jump . Single speed no dropper post , 2.4 fast rolling tyres, 27.5 both wheels , remove front brake and replaced the fork to 140 dropping the weight to 20 kilos I only use my bike for bike park and small jumps.

That is just one of those thin plastic ones that you zip tie. Nothing fancy

Marzocchi coil kit plug& play on fox 36 rhythm without modification? I called world wide cyclery & lost co they told me this kit is not compatible for the rhythm.

I didn't mod anything on the fork or the plunger kit. everything is a perfect fit.

I don't know why they'd say that? The Z1 and 36 Rhythm use the same air spring and damper.

I’m very offended that you said that the fox 36 rhythm is not a top tier fork because I’m riding one and it’s very good for me but I guess everyone is different lol
