Great job As always. I think that hasbro missed a trick by focusing so much on the avengers game for figures instead of the ps4 Spider-Man game. Granted hindsight is 2020

I’m assuming Hasbro didn’t anticipate the success of the PS4 Spidey game back in 2018 they cheaped out for that original figure, whereas with the Avengers game it seems they over estimated how successful it’d be. I really hope Hasbro comes back to the Advanced suit and does an all new sculpt to do it justice like they recently did for the Into the Spiderverse movie

@@SpoonDude Honestly that's a pretty good theory. They went to town with sculpt on their Miles Figure because they knew the series was a success, and it looks really good. Hopefully for Spider-Man 2 they'll go back and give us a fully sculpted, skinnier PS4 Spider-Man.

As someone who has previously owned the Legends version, yours is a major improvement

Oh yeah for sure. I don't know what it was about the Legends figure, but it just never really did it for me... I'd like to think that at some point later down the line we'll get an updated one (because both the Legends version and Select go for quite a bit of money these days) that's on a unique sculpt, and isn't just on a tired Spider-Man buck with a different paint job and a reused head.

Creators are their own worst critics. You did fantastic my guy. This should be the definitive PS4 Spider-Man figure.

This came out awesome! I have a custom PS4 Spidey, but this came out so great I’m tempted to get the Select and try this... if only I had a drill and rotary tool 😭

This tutorial is going to come in very handy when I shorten a KO TASM2 Spidey!! It's just such a great tutorial, I keep coming back to it!

for some reason i feel ilke lowering the legs above the ankle would have eliminated the problem of the misaligned thigh swivel

I wish I was talented enough for this, looks great but I’m not bold enough to drill into my figures 😩

The hard thing with going even shorter is that the arms get longer and longer. I can't take any more out from the arms.

I've been wondering if anyone did this. I love the look of the select, but I don't collect the line. I'm 100 percent going to try this. Been especially wanting a PS4 Spider-Man since I recently started playing the game.

man I wish mafex made a ps4 figure line. sh figuarts is great and the head is perfect but he's so tiny. I guess hot toys is probably the best due to accuracy and that they're really going deep into the line with all the other suits and teasing a doc ock with the anti ock base

Main thing I disliked about the figuarts figure is the hip design. I prefer the hips being flush with the legs, one reason why I hated old school Marvel Legends ball hips.

Should be the same thing except easier cause of how the hip joints are designed (ugly ball joints) and the lack of arm details.
