Marvel Select,s are always tight on detail ,paints.This Spidey is pretty good.

I always tell people how much better select is than legends, maybe not in articulation but in paint and sculpt, and those are more than half the battle.

Arthur I’d prefer legends. To be honest, their quality has improved but out of PS4 Spidey, select takes the win. Take the 80 years and Endgame Legends as an example for how legends are evolved. “Maybe not on articulation” I prefer playability over looks but I’m not saying your opinion is wrong, this is just mine,

Glad this came out good, have really been looking forward to getting it. Too bad about the head articulation but I'm sure you can still get him in some cool poses

That brighter blue really does look good along with the deco and accessories. I only wish Marvel Select could improve articulation. I passed on previous versions, but might have to look into this one.

Ordered mine a few days ago along with the far from home spidey! Can't wait to get my hands on both of them, awesome review btw!

He looks good. Just pre ordered mine. I don’t mind the articulations because most of my figures are in their original packaging hanging on my wall. Hopefully they make the Anti Ock suit but I might get the SH Figuarts version

Mr Pogi TV Toys KZread has a video editing feature where you can trim videos. I just found out about it lol. I had a new version almost finished uploading by the time the fix was finalized

Im assuming the brown outlines on the arm are because of the biceps are casted in blue plastic so painting red turns it into brown

I think some ways it can even fit the legends being the smallest spidey from select so far.

I love the SH Figuarts because that looks really like ps4 spider-man but the paint must be the same as the marvel select one

@@MCUcollector24 So it's on pretty stiff, yes? then I can assume the ball joint inside must be a different size or shape, the other one pops off with some strength, but still comes off easily. Thanks for letting me know, maybe I can experiment a bit when I pick up mine when my order comes in.

Man i wish there was a way to shorten this to fit in with legends

so i bought this guy and its poorly painted, the hands popoff from nothing if you try to make the wrists bend poof they come off. so much rubbing so the paint comes off they did stuff that doesnt make sense like his torso is painted blue so the chest area rubs the paint off the top of the hands the white rubs off from the wrists hands are way too gummy, the lower torso basically should be glued theres like no movement there, the head has to be 2nd worst movement. i know people are worried about the details in the legends one but he moves better and no rubbing.

Nice sculpting & colours! but funny that MS far from home figure has better articulations than this.. they are not using the same body mold???

Each figures gets its own unique mold

Could you try to swap the heads between marvel select and the legends. Usually this won’t work but looking at them side by side the heads look like the same size. Some minor adjustments could fix the peg incompatibility

Wow they really nailed the proportions, I wasn't surprised Hasbro didn't devote a unique sculpt for PS4 Spider-man, but when you see the body shape next to each other, it becomes really apparent. I don't get many MS anymore, but I'll be grabbing him. Also slightly curious about tearing him apart and seeing about increasing the range on the neck and torso.

Great review, and great job DS! It is the best one so far. Mafex, do your thing baby!

You should be Habel to pose a Spiderman action figure into action poses with him Shooting webs that Marvel select has no app crunch it’s a no for me

Why is the adult MS Gamerverse Spidey the same height as the teenage MCU Far From Home Spidey? The lack of butterfly joints means the Marvel Legends is still the best one, for me. If the MS had better articulation I'd be tempted. I do like the blue better on the Select.

I like the sh but it’s not accurate the blue is a tad too dark and the neck and upper body area are a little out of proportion compared to the game, still a great figure though

I just found out this thing exist. And now I get to see how this thing is. Woot.

This guy is the first Select I bought but he certainly won't be my last Honestly between the NECA TMNT line and few random figure purchases, I'm starting to actually prefer 7 inch scale

It’s a little darker than the select blue throughout most of the game but the sh is a little too dark,

I think Mafex is going to nail down the PS4 Insomniac Spiderman figure when they get around to making him!

Mafex is just so late with all their figures, I feel like they really missed the chance unless when the second game comes around they do it. No doubt they would be the best

Ima be honest this is the best one! The shf and marvel legends IMO suck! Marvel legends is too bulky with a odd head, shf has a thing and pretty bad articulation.

Most of the time I tend to prefer Marvel Legends, but this time I prefer Diamond Select's FFH Spider-Man and their Gamerverse Spider-Man. Hasbro did a REALLY nice job on the retro Spider-Man though so I'll pick that up in a heartbeat. Just wish he had wall-crawling hands.

Skinny Pippen on what? Marvel select? Then you trippin. I own BAS, Superman, and hell bat all have paint defects. I know all QC is not perfect but each of My toy especially in the face have terrible paint jobs. McFarlane himself even admitted that the first wave had scaling issues. Marvel select and McFarlane don’t even hold candle to Hasboro yet. Maybe one day. No one wants 7 inch out scale toys . This is my imo so don’t get butt hurt. It’ll be okay if my opinions differs from yours.

Skinny Pippen you named like 5 figures.... I’ll name you 100 Hasbro figures, but we both know you can to, IN MY OPINION it’s not that great of line and waste of money especially when Hasbro is killing it and cheaper!

Wins it by far? Seriously? I get how it maybe better than the legends re-paint but: 1. Articulation is shit and this is a Spider-man figure where articulation is a must have. 2. Brighter blue color is a plus? is completely inaccurate to the PS4 version. Maybe if you're just looking to have an inaccurate PS4 Spider-man standing up in a boring museum pose in your collection sure. Definitely does NOT win it by far.

The brighter blue is more accurate, the ML and figuarts got it wrong, it's not supposed to be that dark.
