For people asking, you can get a solid color via their color mode change on a keyboard and it works fine but if you want make custom keys with software sadly it doesn't, tried everything to make it work but system just wont read keyboard software if not wired thus cant save custom colors... They really made this one to be a plug and go version, working perfectly without any software. I mean for money given its a great one.

are you able to set the greater than and less than symbol?

75% = Compact TKL. Basically mostly a full Tenkeyless board, but with the gaps removed. Not a lot of boards with this form factor unfortunately, especially if you look for RGB support too, and unfortunately pretty much all of them (RK, Ajazz, Keychron) are Chinese. The switches too, but you can actually change them for any other hot swappable 3 or 5 pin switches, including Cherry MX.

how do i install the software

when i try fn home or end it does no color for no reason i have tried i t of and on still not working and the usb i tried unplug plug still not work the color of the keyboard works when i off and on it but it will be gone in a few seconds and i saw all letters are rainbow and the FN key is grey?

I have a problem with this keyboard. My right arrow key keeps switching the mode or something and I can't use it as an arrow key. Do you have a fix for this?

press function + wsad, it might have switched with arrow keys, when you are using wsad, you might feel like using arrows keys because it switched with them

Why is the P key flashing? I was messing around with the RGB settings and now my E key is doing the same thing. Can someone please tell me how to make it stop? Ive held down the fn + space bar to reset but its done nothing...

if the e key is flashing, you have bluetooth device on.

OK, I just got a version of this keyboard and the number keys aren't working, I pretty sure I didn't tamper with the keys settings, but other than that it's working fine

If i want to play games on the keyboard what switch should i use? Red or brown?

i personally prefer red. i bought a cherry mx brown but i like my reds a lot better esp for gaming.

is it normal i can't change light mode from software while on dongle?

Yes it must be wired because it can’t send signals to change colors through thin air

I find it interesting that the top function row of keys is slightly lower height than the number key row?

I'd say it's because the number keys are more important, especially for gaming. Having the F row keys slightly lower reduces the risk of accidentally hitting them with the tip of the finger or nail, given these keys are quite sensitive and the F row is much closer to the number keys with the compact design. Just a nice little detail. :)

can u set a solid rgb color? i want to buy one of this, but i dont know if it has a internal memory that always show the color i setted

All of my keyboards have that, i just have gotten used to them being in the wrong place and just use muscle memory to click it instead of looking for it

They're their own Chinese switches but can be swapped with any 3 or 5 pin switch, including Cherry MX.

This keyboard is totall garbage. Connection via dongle(G mode) have really small range, bluetooth is lagging and cable is loose.

Sounds like a bad unit. Frankly. I've been using one for 6 months now, best purchase ever made. Yes, 2.4Ghz is a bit short range. But that's the whole idea of it. You'd prefer the latency over distant usage. BT and wired work perfectly for me. Another cheap option would be the K2V2 if you're up for it. But Keychron is known for using cheap keycaps.

@@EntropyOnTheCrosshair Brand new RK84 today and it won't work in wired mode at all. Tried 3 different cables and 2 PCs. It lights up and charges but not detecting keypresses. It works fine in BT and 2,4

@@numbone I think I remember going through something very similar and realizing that I was doing something really stupid and fixing easy in 20 mts of googling. Hope that helps. I don't remember exactly what I did lol

@@numbone oh. Turn the unit off before u plug and in that order. It retains wireless otherwise apparently
