Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzread.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

Hunter - I work with businesses like this on a constant basis - so long as your perceived value is there and justified - raising your prices should never be an issue. You as a business are entitled to profit. The best part about this? Raising your prices unlocks an entirely new demographic of customers. Wishing you the best Hunter - if you ever want someone to bounce ideas off of, I'm an open book. -Gabe

It amazes me sometimes that people don’t get this like you do. A few months back I had some people who owned a business that uses 3 semis. I quoted them $75 per semi which includes an exterior wash, clean of the nasty vinyl seats, clean the nasty vinyl flooring, and of the super gross dash with old ketchup and stuff dried on. Then they said well the guy we had before did it for $35. They said this after they complained that he scratched the paint on their personal vehicles and the aforementioned semis. (The reason why I quoted that was because me and my buisiness partner have the process down so that we can have the whole job done perfectly in 3-4hrs).

I started detailing last month and my starting prices were 70$ for a full detail, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I slowly moved my prices up. That’s because I knew the kind of work I was doing was good, I was confident in it. Time from time I get people complaining that it’s too high and there’s others who will do it for cheap (I live in AZ and we got lots of mobile retailers) . The competition is tough out there tbh and sometimes I wonder if I should charge that much.

When I started out, I was charging anywhere from $50 to $150 and these were big jobs. One thing I notice that client don't really pay much attention to, is that those paper mats you place on the interior they are always just thrown out as soon as they receive the vehicle so I would say take time and research and see if it is even worth to have the expense of paper mats. Enjoying these video, thanks man!

I always charge a price that causes pain to the customer. This is how I screen the ones that just want cheap work. I position myself as a business that offers high quality detailing services. If I feel like I over charged them, I have the integrity to give some of the money back. They are usually super excited about this and end up referring me to their family and friends. Keep up the solid work my guy! I charge 160- 210 for just a wash and wax for small vehicles. 190-300 for wash on large vehicles. Interior is basically around the same. So if someone wants a full detail I usually make around 400-600 Anytime I use my polisher for any paint correction its an additional 200-400 for small vehicles. 400-800 for larger vehicles ON TOP of the wash and wax service. Ive only been in business for about a year.

We’re completely mobile too. Started this January. Just raised our prices for the first time last week. Something we had been wanting to do but were nervous. However, we realized that even in the small amount of time we had been detailing, we knew which clientele we wanted to aim towards. We also know what our quality is worth when comparing the amount of time we spend on vehicles to others. It’s been great so far - we’ve told our repeat clients & they continued to book again. When changing pricing, We did account in the fact that we are mobile - when at first we were just doing pricing to get clients and get our foot in the door. We have received comments in the past about the pricing even when it was low - for some reason some people think mobile should be less instead of more? We provide convenience and that is a luxury that comes at a price. Love the videos! My names Ashley & and my boyfriend/business partner, Danny, was born and raised in Sacramento! We are currently in Georgia though, where I’m from.

My first side-hustle and technically first business was mobile detailing. I see you grinding bro! I know that grind. Don't hesitate with your new pricing. You're just going to end up keeping customers who really value your time and their own time. Your ideal customer is the one who's doesn't even want to take the time or energy to replace you when you bump up your prices 😉 Best of luck 👍 PS Thanks for all the product links, gonna grab a few =D

Our prices are completely different because I’m from Houston,Tx. So your pricing should be higher than mine most definitely. My full detail price starts at just $140. This doesnt include polishing or paint correction though. Interior starts $100. Mold starts at $400. Wash $60(2 vehicles minimum). Paint correction 1step starts $200. 2 step starts $350. 3 step starts $500

The best feeling in the world is when your so busy with the business that I feel like being great at what you do you will loose some clients but the ones that stick around are your true clients. My husband and I just started a business this year it’s going beyond great 10k a month we did not know what was to come and it was a blessing from god we are so busy we do not know how to handle inventory but the best part is figuring it out and not stressing out we just raised our prices as well don’t feel bad

I really like how @detailgroove here on youtube said he raises his pricing. He will adjust his new pricing and then if he has a previous customer he honors the old pricing and then informs them in person that the next time the prices will be updated to his new pricing seems like it keeps everyone happy and to me seems like a good way to keep customers coming back! People saying they want one thing but mean another is so common in the service industry. Terms/services are not 100% universal. I work in bicycle repairs and people will say they want a full Tune-Up on their bicycle that starts at $75 but in reality, they want one thing adjusted and it's only $15. Or one companies "basic" wash is cheaper but it includes less than your "basic" wash, it's defiantly knowing the competition and good communication, we will often pull up the competition's website and show what they get in comparison to ours along with our 40+ years of experience.

Best thing I could ever tell new detailers when starting out: tell everyone they're getting a "limited time rate" or "first-time customer discount" for a good year or two. That way they expect the raised prices for the next one but are happy to be getting a "discounted rate" for the current job, and if you don't end up raising prices quite yet, you can say you're going to "do them a favor and give them another job at a discounted rate" to curry favor with consistent customers. Makes you look good no matter what, and the customers think they're getting great treatment but have consistent expectations of it costing more next time.

I started at 35 in and 35 out when the pandemic hit and I got unemployed. My buddy called me and had me detail his truck, when I get done he said how much , I said 70 he said your not working all day for 70 and he paid me 300. That was the turning point from then on I raised my prices to 125 in and 75 out now I'm 150 in and 75 out no polishing, if I pull a polisher it's at least another 100. My goal is to be 500 in and out we will get there. I'm also from new jersey so I gotta make my $ in the seasons. Keep doin you bro, thanks for the content!!

You have to loose some customers to make room for your better paying ones. Then you can do less cars and not wear yourself and your crew out while still making the same amount. Make engine detailing an up sale not included and don't cut your price. Be sure to use carpet and cloth seat protector if you are on a vehicle you are certain you will be detailing again. Use protectant on every repeat it will help you get the car done faster next time.

Hey Hunter on the topic of your "on condition" pricing; please start asking for photos. You can save yourself from a lot of unsatisfied clients. Ask for photos to assess the condition of interiors and give your price before showing up. Even if people end up paying a price higher than expected, they may feel "trapped" because they know you've already shown up and spent money on gas.

This is the way I see it, if someone’s doing you a service you can’t do for yourself/ aren’t willing to do yourself, or even something you know you can’t do better, then there’s no room at all for negotiation or lowballing. People need to realize that skills and passion are what pays the bills.
