So I'm trying to build an xo clone I've seen like three vids from other guys a couple of years ago and I'm trying to come up with an all aluminum stretched chassis I'm a sheet metal person and have the access to do it I did the 4 inch stretch and it handles well but as I would like to make the chassis a litttle more rigid I'm having trouble configuring the top plate and as I don't just want to buy one the mounting bars for the steering is my problem any ideas would greatly help thanks man

I'm looking to get one of these asap. You did a great job with this and it's very close to how i would like mine to look. I like the parts you added and you can see you took care doing it too. Do you have a parts list for the custom parts you added ? Liked n Subscribed.

Eric Bostick I dont think it is. But i did pop the end caps off and sealed the board inside with conformal and put some rtv on end caps and sensor wire. Bearings are never really water proof.

nice rig and nice review , about them being top heavy , yes they are , but as I explained to my brother here we have about 10 rigs between us I owning two trx4s one all tripped out and the other a plane jane , I discovered that I tried harder courses to run only to roll out and spill over a few time , its not the traxxas fault of being too heavy , its my fault for expecting them to do too much , there's a limit to everything . so I had to ajust my driving to suit the rig and not the rig to suit my driving, they can only do so much and pushing them over the edge can be costly . again sir you have a nice rig and review , keep them coming , I would like to see a few recording of you taking them out . perhaps you have and I just haven't seen it ,

I'm a Traxxas or nothing guy. I have my TRX-4 decked out as well. If it's made of brass it's on my truck. The rest is black aluminum. Nice paint on your truck!

RC Addict Proline Interior does not fit the full length of the inside of the truck. Its only a front and back seat. Plus i wanted to stick with true look of traxxas defender body.

Its the way to go ! if you can make it yourself than why buy it. It ads up real quick when you buy a scale cooler, axe and you name it, you can even buy a MTB with bike rack really cool but every item is about 20-30 bucks so before you know it there's a 2500,- truck on the workbench !! Oooppss…….

At 14.55 it showed u had a flat tire. Nice truck with all the goodies but no arb air compressor to pump your flat up. I was just seeing it as a real truck thats all and trying to crack a joke!

Ours had weights, re-located battery and big-bore shocks. Made a little difference but where we crawl it just could not hang. It's more of a trail-truck than a crawler. I have a Bomber and sold the TRX and bought my kid a Bomber. He loves it.
