Yeah, I noticed as I just pushed through it got better... I just have a hard time seeing the end result. Thanks for the video link, I'll check it out.

Great job posing the figure with the heat gun. Could have gone horribly wrong but you were careful and it really paid off.

I completely sympathize with the diorama "poop/brisket" base. It's tough for me to do rocky earth too. My last one has been called a biscuit so many times 😂

Fortunately it turned out in the end but wow there were some time I really questioned what the heck I was doing!!! 😂

That was great! The figure is a vast improvement over the original one and it has a more realistic look to it. If I had not seen this tutorial I would have thought it was a vinyl figure. Thanks for sharing this.

That was some really cool results with bending the legs& feet like that with a heat gun. I would have thought for sure warping beyond belief, but that's a nice finish look. Great job all the way around. I was really impressed with how you got the terrane to match his pose that well to boot.

Thanks I never thought of using a heat gun to adjust the joints great job. I have a new ideal for a mech robot that a 3 3/4 figure can fit into using a eclipse 60 piece gum container think you might want to try it out to

thank you for this... my son was going to throw away his Master Chief toy - it is missing its gun and a leg has broken... I hope to be able to do it justice by fixing it and making it into a diorama.... he may even want it back - now its a few years later and the program is out... ;)

A figure that size and they don't make the legs with articulation. Weird! even the smaller halo figures have full articulation

For the elbows I just used a cheap craft paint from Hobby Lobby, the green was Citadel as well as the silver for the edge weathering. The black wash was also Citadel Nuln Oil.

I actually got the silver paint at a yard sale but it has honestly been the best silver I have ever used! Design Masters - Premium Metal - Super Silver
