have you considered using photoshop or any other software to recreate the decals? then scale down and print on sticky paper you can cut out with sharp blade.

i had the black version of this model as a kid. i always thought these Fast 111s had cooler body styling than HW or MB, even on same-model cars, plus they all had super-fast style axels, and of course the all-unique license plate gimmick 😅

I love it! I'm currently working on turning a 1968 Chevy Nova into a Super Stock Car, I'm going to repaint it, do a wheel swap with the front wheels, add a Cowl induction hood scoop, full roll cage, sponsor stickers all over it, and a wheelie bar. When I'm done with it I'll have to post a video of it.

A perfect example where you could laser cut the firebird onto the hood prior to painting...that would be a sweet effect. You could even laser cut the bird...lay down a base coat of gold...then a top coat of black, and sand at the bird to reveal the gold. :)

Not quite on topic but I ave made a model of a typical workshop/garage and have had so much satisfaction from photographing my models after completion in it. I have some tiny cameras and the ground level shots are great. Was simple to do and a neat way of recording your hard work.

he seems to prefer painting cars that previously had decals just one colour, like the 80s ford bronco that had a really cool ableit very worn paint job, he painted it a straight blue when originally it was black, red and yellow. i think that was one of his more recent ones too

This red line restoration episode is a 2013 release. It's hard to believe just how much I've missed. This has a strong reference of what I used to keep and assemble. I used to have a 1/24th plastic scale model Shelby Charger. I even applied decals on this plastic scale model car.

I've bought and retorted a few pairs of trainers that I picked up in charity shops in England, I've worn them until they were bin able, but they were technically works of art when compared to before and after, the white Nikes I restored were covered in plaster and had cobwebs in them, I felt a bit uneasy picking them up with my bare hands, after blasting them under the tap , soaking them in warm water then scrubbing them with creme cleaner they were looking promising, I reckon some one wore them to work once when they were pretty new and ruined them, then just wore them as work shoes..Anyway!! They went in to the washing machine,, when they came out I repainted them, sewed the rip at the back up, dried them and lacquered them... and they looked Brand new!! I was so proud and excited about it I ended up telling a girl.. A complete stranger on the bus!! She couldn't believe how proud of my trainers I was!!! (I think she missed the point! A- haaaar haaaar haaaar! It was funny! She was a lovely girl!!)

Use modeling clay to fill the inside of the windshield plastic, pull it out and then use that as a vacuform buck. The result will be an exact dupe of the original windshield. Use something like .003 clear PETG and you will have a new windshield. Used to do that to make replacement windshield back when I was doing 1:43 slot cars.

I just saw that you said you couldn't do anything about a yellow windshield. I think there's a way to fix that. I'm a big sneaker collector and I love to restore sneakers. Sometimes part of the translucent sole on Jordan's gets yellow(something that can't be wiped off) so we use 40 volume cream salon care. Put a small layer on the soles, cover it with plastic wrap, and set it out in the sun. I don't know why it works but it does. Just a thought. Thought it might help you

Watching some of your older videos and I had forgotten you used a Ferrari F-40 from blvd series on this Kenner.. guess it was Mattels loss of their license to produce Ferrari but man I saw one of these go for 50 bucks recently. Willing to bet a lot of us probably drilled out Ferraris and other castings 5-7 yrs ago that now are rare and pricey. Anyway still love the custom. Since we moved I can't find the Dairy you made but I am gonna go back through a bunch of old jammers and find it. That thing had the coolest rust/weathered look.
