Did you notice that this Matchbox restoration episode; also revamped my memory of when, Katherine and Corey Chrysler used to live on the corner of Rodriguez Street and 7th Avenue? I'm not kidding you, it did. It's about when they used to own a 1950s black pickup truck, or even a 1950s black 2 door sedan with red hub caps and white wall tires. It's right next to where the old SPCA is. I've rode past there many times before.

Why do you need a market for a hobby? Passion isn't about profit. I've been into scale models for close to 30 years and i can promise you that selling them is the LAST thing i think about. I do what i do because i love doing it,it's challenging,it hones my skills,it forces creativity and keeps me out of the bars. If i can turn a profit from it then that's just some extra icing on my cake. The resources are there for you to start. If people dig your work then YOU'LL create the market for yourself.

Nice job. Those skulls are great fun!! Back in the day, 40+ years ago, we had one guy at our slot car racing club who would hand paint mad stuff onto the inside of lexan 1/32nd scale body shells. His own race cars were always detailed, even showing sponsor decals etc. On one shell he even produced a fair copy of the Yes album Relayer cover art, with cave detail, snake and everything. I guess he was glad we didn't race 1/64th scale!
