Lyssuhh Before I begin I should point out that despite popular belief, Disney’s Cinderella is not based on the Brothers Grimm version. Disney’s version is based on Charles Perrault’s Cendrillon (A much older and lighthearted version of the tale.) and is almost a completely faithful adaption of that version. Now, Grimm’s Cinderella is a lot darker than either Disney’s or Perrault’s with her father being as bad as her step-family and the infamous mutilations in the ending. On the less gory side, The ball is three nights instead of one and a willow tree (with the possible help her mother’s sprite.) takes place of the fairy godmother. As for Disney’s, the main difference is that Cinderella’s father dies when she was a child so the stepmother has more power over her from an early age, whereas in Perrault’s the father is alive but being manipulated by the stepmother, and the ending where Cinderella forgives her stepsisters (not stepmother notably) and sets them up with rich husbands. But in other versions of the tale, Cinderella father leave to attend business trip and left his daughter in the care of his new wife. While Disney does receive criticism for how it adapts certain stories taking away some of the more gory details (Hans Christian Anderson) it’s important to note that sometimes the story they are adapting probably was not as dark as you think it was.

Man, I wish all toy companies put this much care, heart, and quality into their work. Ever since I could remember toys have been so low quality, like they didn't care whether people would like it or not, they just care about the money. Everything is made by machines, then and now. I love work that is hand crafted and made with the heart and soul of artists, like porcelain dolls, I have plenty of those and I can feel the love put into them and the hard work. Too bad with such care comes a high cost, as in 💰💰💰💰💰😢 It would be so cool if I could get custom dolls, but it costs too much money and I can't make them myself because once again there's the money problem and I also don't have any of the materials or tools I need. Life sucks. Anyways, ur work is great and I love it, keep up the good work.💗

awee thank you so much! :D yeah its hard and expensive to produce high quality dolls massively, thats why dolls now arent as detailed, but they were back in the 50s. i think the demand just isnt as high, so companies are trying to do what they can to save cost. this is where artists come in and create additional beauty onto these beautiful models :D

It's so abnormally big for her body and not in the cute doll like way. And i think if the brow bones doesn't meet in the middle, that might soften it some?
