In 1982 I was in Subic while in the Navy and this guy let me drive his trike and I was drunk lol I crashed into another trike and broke off the third wheel. I bought him two pints of San Migul he seemed ok. I seen him the next morning in the ally sleeping with his wheel he was reparing with an half a bottle beer between his legs lol

I was in the Philippines 82,83 while in the Seabees. NMCB 74 heavy equipment operator.

I remember traveling in jeepneys when I was in the Marine Corps. I really love the people of Philippines. I had a great experience and would love to return someday.

I think the wildest car scene is always going to be in Asia, because the variety is way to vast, and eclectic.

FYI, Jeepneys originated from Jeeps left behind in WWII, not the 60s. There were no abandoned bases, it was cheaper for the US to leave the vehicles than ship them back to the states

Lived in the Philipines 67/68 as a 9/10 year old air force brat. (Clark) Trust me....these were the FIRST things I noticed. 🙂

My dad Had a custome Jeep With a 460 bigblock that was built in the Philippines, Angeles Clark, and ship to Australia when it's fully built

After seeing Calvin Castiel's video where you were being interviewed, I knew this video will come to happen. Fun fact: the Balai Ising Jeepney, at 19:30, is one of the oldest surviving, actual post-war Willys jeepneys in the world. That particular jeepney is a 1950 model. Also Chad, be on a lookout for another upcoming jeepney show called "Patukan sa Bulacan"
