Custom Duramax Chevy C10

The Diesel Brothers on Discovery Channel built this C10 pickup on Season 3 over three episodes for Charity Air Ambulance and the company's owner, Cheyenne Lord.
Built to be driven as you can see. The hand-built tube chassis with a cantilever coil over hydraulic suspension and roll cage was engineered with a removable floor, so the entire cab can be lifted off.
It’s powered by a fully built LBZ Twin-Turbo Duramax diesel 6.6-liter race engine producing an estimated 800-1000hp and 1500 ft/lbs of torque that can hold 60-80 pounds of boost. The engine is backed by a Dodge 47RE automatic transmission with a shortened Dana Currie rear end.

I just pulled an 08 duramax for a rebuild and have been talking about doing this with either a 1960 or an '85. I e done a bit of this and that but never anything of this caliber but looking very forward to the challenge. This was just a bit more inspiration to chase that dream truck.
No this is now my all time favorite truck. This is absolutely beautiful

Actually a couple of Gilbert PD did reach out to me...to say hell yeah brother Reppin Gilbert! haha wish I could post the pics they shot of the after math. Great squad out here don't mess with me as long as I don't get outa hand (Racing, running lights, drunk driving, will never get by them though.)

the video is awesome plus, but i can't say the same about sound , i prefer an "'engine music"
Man I just washed most of the rubber off the back of that truck while it was on the floor at Barrett Jackson, now its covered again! Awesome! Getting the rocks and rubber out of the bed areas is a pain. The inside of the tailgate was still coved with rubber. I didn't clean that off so I bet it's real thick now! Sweet!

Check upload date :) He wanted the rubber left on the tailgate and a lot of it melted off and caught fire as you can see at the end haha.
