    Aaahh this reminds me of some ceiling work I have done at the Kuwait university. Though beautiful, the work on site was a nightmare especially coordination with MEP trades for ceiling fixtures. But the final outcome was definitely worth it

    Hey Balkan Architect! Really nice videos! I've been following your videos for a while and for the first time I'm commenting! Maybe It's a good idea to model a adaptative conceptual mass family with triangular form to place inside the triangles on the mass! Would be really nice if the the structure could be more modelled and more parametric! That's what I would do! Thanks for all those videos anyway! They helped me a lot on getting to know Revit better!

    You could also build a roof or floor system creating triangle grid using sub object editing, then if individual panels wanted use a beam system for each triangle

    Its better to use ceiling base adaptive components coz u can actually create the triangulated pattern maybe with cotton as if its curtain panel and the lines as the wooden support and the nods as a guide for the heights on the vertices and u can make them.even parametric so u can change them acording to the design u prefer.... From the 3d window

    I don't know if it's possible in revit but in sketchup you can do it much easier by moving the intersection points up and down after designing the patterns of the roof,and then apply texture on it for rendering,nice video though ;)

  • @aisha.mahjoub

    @aisha.mahjoub

    8 ай бұрын

    you can also do that in revit by creating a simple roof and then next to the edit profile there's the option to modify points and you can add segments and intersection line points and then play with the height of each point
