That airbox is mint mate, you'll notice if you take off your roof rack the snorkel noise will drop

That thing will pull trees out of the ground.

Those snorkel are ridiculous, they are recommend for young whipper snapper...LOL

Thats loud as, my ls3 through a stainless snorkel isn't anywhere near that loud

your panel filter is around the wrong way flip your filter up around so the open slits are at the bottom not the top :)

@@JS-tb9hu yes 100%, the air is being drawn from the out side in, the long slots need to face downwards for more surface area of air to be cleaned and it also catches large debris in the grooves

Sorry to say, but that sounds reminds me of a VDJ thong slapping up a sand dune🤣 haha Y62 supercharged all the way lads that’s what I’m running

It’s quiet until ya sink the boot into it. The wider the throttle body opens the more noise it makes👍

I’ve had a snorkel the same and dyno gives better numbers with the plastic safari snorkel. So they don’t only look shit. They are shit. Though we shouldn’t expect much more from someone that destroys a cruiser by putting a chev in it.

@@robcantwell1981 interesting, maybe the forced induction makes a difference. Or the fact that the Cummins doesn’t rev out as high as the LS. My tuner says that the safari snorkels make a noticeable difference (negative impact) on the N/A LS’ in the higher revs so who knows, different requirements for different motors.
