Having the courts take away my daughter and give custody to her mom simply because she is a mother is completely unfair. It’s been a big test for me and it’s not a test that I want anymore. How do you make peace with people taking your child (not to mention a lot of money) from you? You just have to accept that it’s unfair and you’re fucked. So Fuck all this

Men have this problem in the western countries where the mother usually gets full custody and some bad mothers deny fathers of their religious and human rights to be part of the child’s life. But did you know woman are being denied their religious and human rights too?! Woman are being trapped by abusive tyrannical husbands in the Middle East, because how in the world can she see her kids if she gets divorced and leaves her Ex’s home? Where will she live? How would she fight for custody without nationality or a job? How to fight for custody with no money or family support? So the men get full custody because the woman has no job, money or family to help her. And in most cases the woman can’t even stay in the country after divorce because she can’t support herself. This happened to me but I alhamdullah found someone to take care of me in same country my kids live. But my Ex is so furious I’m getting remarried he threatened to make false accusations to have me jailed and threatened to kill me and my future husband if I stay in “his” country. And has forbidden my children to call me or message me. He’s filing my kids heads with lies, saying I abandoned them and I’m a thief.. falsely accusing me I stole money from him. He signed the divorce in American court and gave me full custody of the kids I had with me. Yet I returned to Jordan to be with all my kids. I took three and left three behind. He wouldn’t allow me to take them all. I thought he’d be grateful to have our kids back in his homeland and finally give me a BREAK!! But NO. Once he found out I wouldn’t live under his oppression ( because he planned to give me hell for divorcing him) and found someone to take care of me he began a slander campaign against me…. Now I’m trying to figure out what the hell to do😣🤯😭 This is by far the hardest test I’ve ever been put through and I’m inclined to share my story for many reasons, I imagine many woman go through my situation and find no support. Woman are being oppressed by abusive men who we trusted with our lives then take advantage we are all alone in a foreign country with no way of defending ourselves against their evil ways. May Allah help and guide me and all the divorced mothers out there who are suffering in similar circumstances.. May Allah help us reach out and make people aware of this problem that I’m sure many woman are facing.. We are in need of religious support. And legal support and support by people who understand these type of complicated divorces. I’ve spent years looking for a sheikh who will talk some sense to my Ex husband and his family but I always hit a dead end and get no help whatsoever. They just tell me to leave it to Allah. But doesn’t Allah give these religious leaders knowledge to help people who face difficult situations?? I’ve been made to feel my problem is too complicated for any sheikh or mufti to help in anyway.. 💔
