If ur a woman or long hair is a good option keratin is not permanent so u can always go back to curls there’s also relaxers they permanently alter ur hair if u wasn’t 100% straight hair but keratin is a good option if ur not 100% sure
I have thick, wavy, curly, jet black hair. I have had the same mullet for almost four years and the back just grows out and not down. If I straighten it, it touches my shoulders. I will never understand why men want curly hair. I want straight.

Same problem, i got it from my father, it's like slightly wavy but on the tip it curls like a damn fetus, i just came back from the salon because it was the only place open that cuts hair, they styled it straight pretty good and then i immediately took a shower because i was used to doing that when i get haircuts and it dried up and curled back to how it was, i don't even look like i got my hair styled, i just look like i trimmed my hair for school standards, i effing hate this.

It won't last long. I tried that before, but better than the hair relax as this one has less hair damage. If you want to make it much straighter, grow your hair long enough so you can go for hair rebond. Then you will just go back to your hairstylist around after 6 months for newly grown hair for another hair rebond just to maintain it.

@@acorn_8951 I don't think there would be adverse side effects if you go to a professional hairstylist because they will assess your hair first if it can withstand the chemicals that will be applied to your hair. But of course Rebond products are much milder than those used for hair relax or keratin. Just my opinion.

How many days it will stay straight?
I’m black with a high top fade and i straighten the top of my hair. It looks dope with a fresh fade, I was looking Puerto Rican lol. The only down side is that it doesn’t stay straight for very long. It’s too much maintenance for me, I would have to straighten it every day for it to look right.

It is usually safe but we don't recommend to do this frequently. Using a Formaldehyde free Keratin is important since Formaldehyde is a chemical that can cause some side effects like allergic reactions, headaches and coughing during procedure
