this is almost exactly my routine! I have long natural 3a hair but a few months back started doing something really similar to what you did here- and now my hair is more like a 2b beach wave. I feel like it's a lot more fitting for my face and my style, and the technique isn't damaging!

@sydneyradig2589
Жыл бұрын
@@causewhynot8891 I don't use a hair tie in my routine, I just brush it when its wet with a lot of product, don't scrunch, wrap it in a towel and let it sit 2-3 hours. then I take it down, add a bit of water if needed, finger comb, and add gel and then just let it air dry from there. its important to focus the gel on the ends. For me, it works well enough. My curls are on the bigger/looser side of the 3a (but they are still spirals), so it may be different if your hair is tighter

@sydneyradig2589
Жыл бұрын
@@belleame-st3sg I do not plop, I wrap it it a microfiber towel! after I finish rinsing out my conditioner, I flip my head over and comb leave-in conditioner through the hair. I do not scrunch. I drape the microfiber towel (I use TurbieTwist hair towels) over the back of my head, and then wrap it around the length of my hair and twist, and then pull the twist over my head and let it sit in the towel for 2-3 hours. So the hair is pulled straight and twisted inside the towel the entire time. Hope this helps!

That curling stuff is good! I used to use it before using a blowdry to dry my hair and I used to put my head upside down and slide my fingers on my scalp, pinch my fingers together (so 👋🏼✋🏼, open close) and pull away from my scalp. That gave me SOO much volume and i liked how the top wasn't flat or too curly. For the rest i just pulled my curls while they were drying and it gave a wavy effect which i really liked 😊 i should do it again
This man KNOWS HIS STUFF. Like 10/10.
Your haircut looks great on you, and both styles look incredible with it. I'd just rethink leaving the conditioner on as I heard that could be damaging but hey, chances are you've already looked into that more than I have.

LOL that ending, thanks for the tips bro 🔝.
Your natural curls, without product, looks best! My curls are similar to yours, except I have fine hair. Mine is also low porosity, so it takes forever to dry, so I can relate. My hair is also sandy brown, with a golden tint, and hair line. I wish I had darker brown hair, or even black hair at times, so it would look fuller. 😢 My hair is also very soft, and shiny, but I feel like it would show the shining way better if my hair was very dark! Great video though. Subscribed. 🎉❤😊
do you have any kind of undercut for this. I would like to achieve this style for myself but I want to get the right cut
Like I said to you before... Love the fro!

your curl type is extremely similar to mine. imma give this a go.
So, about this layer technique, i have seem some videos saying that it actually reduce the weight of the hair. It maybes creates the opposite on curly hair?
Your hair looks much better and fresher with its natural curl pattern, it just looks heavy and greasy now. Take care
I am gonna grow my hair out to achieve this style so coool ,bro
followed all these steps minus the hood dryer as I don’t have one & it felt like there was far too much product in my hair even though I used the bare minimum. I get it weighs it down but it made my hair feel awful to touch, any advice? I feel like maybe rinsing out the conditioner & just using detangler & curl butter would be the best shout
My hair is fine and pin straight so this isn't the most useful for me, so I thought until you mentioned the hexagon shape for your, which is something I noticed but couldnt quite put my figure on. For me I have a more square face and I want something to soften my features while still giving structure, so I'll be keeping that in my pocket, thanks. Ps. You you really pull of both the sweeped back and the fro look
Lookin good Demetrios.
My hair is a bit less curly than you but a little more thick so would this routine still work for me?
Good job, I like the artistics. What should I use as a shampoo? Cuz I heard u can't use anything of u using Cantu?
Hey man, love your vids, I wanted to ask a question, I have hair similar to yours, but a little looser. If I were to try this method, would I also look good with a hairstyle with bangs? (that's what I usually have that's why) because I noticed that this method works well with a slick back, but in my case, would it look weird if I just did this then pushed my hair forward? Or would you do it differently?
Was thinkin of buying one from facebook marketplace, do you think the car can be daily drived? Or is it a once every couple of days kind of car
Genuinely surprised to see 'so few' subscribers for such high quality content, keep it up man!

Hi @Demtrioslevi , Im very confused as to how you dont have a high subscriber and view count around now, your production quality is insane and your editing style and colour grading is very unique and memorable. Is it that those topics are not very searched on?, is it that you’ve not been posting consistently (generally) ? Is your retention and CTR bad? Do viewers click off too quickly and so does youtube decide to bury your channel? Im starting my own channel very soon so im very curious as to how you dont have a 100k, no, a Million subscribers with those amazing videos. Have a good day :)

The Pete and Pedro conditioner actually says in its directions to rinse it out. Its ingredients also contain sulfates, which can damage your hair if left in. Would you still recommend using it as a leave in conditioner?
@DemetriosLevi
3 ай бұрын
Oh shit, I didn't even know that! Thanks for pointing that out. If it damages your hair and it says to rinse out than either rinse it out or use a sulfate-free conditioner. I personally never had any problems when I used P&P and my hair was always healthy, but maybe if I would have kept using it, overtime it could possibly have damaged it. It worked for me, but that's just me. I think it's up to you at that point. If leaving conditioner in gets you good results, then go for a sulfate free.
I have some pretty tight curls, somewhere around 3B-3C. I've always liked the way my hair looks when it's weighed down. The bigger curls just look better. I recently found a routine that almost always gives the style I'm looking for by applying a dab of low-strength, alcohol-free gel, but I'm going to try and incorporate your technique and leave in a bit of conditioner after my shower (although it might leave some visible residue so I'm going to have to be careful about not putting on too much).
