Cure your Complacency | Franco Scanga | TEDxUnionville
There is a serious epidemic that is running rampant across Canada and around the world as we speak. It is leaving thousands and thousands of innocent people in its wake and with no sign of slowing down. If you are not careful, this epidemic will get to you to, if it has not already!
The complacency epidemic is a reality. With growing numbers of disengagement across organizations around the world, in which leaders are failing to meet the need of both their teams and organizations, we are in dire need for a cure for this problem.
But good news, there is a cure! The antidote lies within the INSIGHT of each and every one of us. Franco Scanga is the Manager of Technology Assets at Ontario Tech University. Franco's professional IT experience spans across various industries, where he has lead strategic and operational activities focusing on the interrelationship between business and technology.
In 2016, Franco broke an audacious world record for the Most Speeches in 24 Hours as part of an innovative charitable event. The record challenged one of humankind's most innate fears - standing and sharing ideas. In doing so, he developed a unique framework for leaders to become more courageous and strategic thinkers. Franco continues to share his insight of constructive self-disruption and fearless leadership in the community and at industry events. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
