    For everyone worried about the safety of the guys at Proformance. Everyone that works at the shop wears respirators and goggles. They all were excited to be featured in an Ammo video, and wanted their faces shown. Thank you for worrying, but we definitely work safe.

    Yeah!..I was a little concerned!..I know 2 pack paint is nasty stuff, wasn't so sure about powder coat, but either way the dust can't be good for you...Great job!!

    Couldn't agree more. Couple months down the line £200/300 later, paint flakes off. Though initially looks good. Very disappointing.

    I was considering powder coating my oem rims to a high gloss black, but seeing how beautiful they look after just having the paint stripped and the suggestion they offer to get that look is more tempting.

    Thank you so much for this video Larry.. I curbed and bent 2 of my OEM Mustang wheels, I wanted to replace them, turns out they're $1,200 EACH.. LOL.. I found some places that claim to repair wheels and leave them "like new" but I wasn't sure if that was possible to even repair them, after seeing this video I'm much more confident in the process.

    Excellent - good tip regarding doing your own wheels and the grade of paper to use and the polish...mine are kerbed and need sorting out. A pandemic will provide the time, just need to decide when to do it. Thanks for your informative info as ever. Be safe.

    The title is misleading. Expecting to see the rim repair work and its not shown. Only thing on video is stripping of paint and applying of paint and of course, cleaning. At no moment do you see how to fix damage to the rim, a repair technique is briefly mentioned at 3:03.

    Yeah, I thought they were going to add material to the wheel, THEN sand off the excess to match the wheel’s proper shape.

    another great video by the master i am going to do some curb rash repair on my alloy rims my self just the outer edge will sand lightly and paint. would like to use a little filler dont no what kind of filler to use any ideas thanks dan

    I just had this happen today at the tire shop after getting tires they hid the damaged rims on the passenger side and pulled the car up front running I'm glad I seen this video I'm not even going to argue with the owner what goes around comes around
