I want one of these to install on my double garage after I finish painting as the cherry on top, I was recommended the 30-36'' size, I don't have the knowledge or skills to build my own, just looking around for someone who is able to ship internationally as I live in New Zealand, even a cupola kit that I can assemble would work. No one makes them here.

Shall you cut a hole in the roof under a cupola to provide a good ventilation?

Is there a way to install a functional cupola to an existing building?

what if you have different roof pitches. Lets say 5:12 on the front and 3:12 shed on the back. Will the process be the same and will it center and level properly?

Yeah, but be very careful that you cut the proper angles on the correct side of the base. That gets a bit tricky, but just make sure when you make your angle finder out of the strapping that you line the bottom of the angles with the base on both sides like they say in the video.

The video is a good product demonstration, but it's a shame the cupola is purely decorative. Slightly dissapointing

Cut a hole in the roof below the cupola, install a spiral staircase and you're good to go!
