Key to learning Spanish is just diving headfirst into the complex shit after learning the basics and similarities to English. I would reccomend doing things like rereading books you know well in Spanish and listening to podcasts. Eventually there's going to be a point where things start making sense when you're invested enough. For me I've started to play games in servers with languages I'm trying to learn (French, Korean, and Arabic are the easiest to do this with)

And I make a mess of both words people in bejeing and shanghai like foreigners speaking Cantonese get impressed a lot cuz they can't understand or speak Cantonese.

From the ones i can understand, he actually learned the very basic things. For instance, his Hindi was very limited but with not so heavy accent, and the same goes for his Swahili and Somali. His Amharic on the other hand was hard to understand and at times incorrect even though he only said a few things. But still his efforts are very commendable and inspiring.

I remember a few years ago when my dad took us all to Sears to check the lawn mowers and an employee came up to ask if he needed help. My dad only speaks Spanish so he was expecting one of us kids to help translate between him and the employee but the employee pulled a fast one on us and spoke perfect Spanish. The thing though was that the employee was Japanese. My dad struck a conversation with him and apparently he was an exchange student who decided to come to our local Uni because it was close to the border and he was interested in learning a bit of Mexico too. He was just trying to do a 2x1 and sightsee between both countries but ended up learning Spanish unintentionally.

Bro you've got a real gift for learning languages. I know you've put a lot of hard work and effort into learning these languages, but to be able to converse with other nationalities to this degree, and even pick up on cultural nuances, is an incredible thing to be able to do. But you've got to put it into action overseas. I've been to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and a bunch of other Asian countries without being able to say much more than hello, thank you and goodbye. What I would have given to chat to the locals like this. Keep it going, man. Your videos are awesome.
