Non, numbers don't have roots.

X = 2exp(i. theta) where 3. theta = 2npi. n= 0, 1 or 2..Simple. No need for cvonvoluted old fashioned nonsense.

Sorry, Roger, I think you're not really right, cause theta must be 2npi/3 with n = 0,1, or 2. And for me the old fashioned solution is nice and necessary.
