Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Join me, Kirby Allison, as we return to the heart of Havana for an exclusive journey through the esteemed El Laguito cigar factory, a place where the art of cigar-making ascends to its highest form. It's here, within the walls of this historic 100-year-old mansion, that the fabled Cohiba cigars have been meticulously crafted since the 1960s, capturing the patronage of aficionados worldwide.
The mystique of Cuban cigars, unparalleled in the tobacco realm, finds its soul in the legacy of El Laguito. Our privileged access, courtesy of Director Oscar Rodriguez Carballeira, allows us to privileged access to the hallowed halls of El Laguito, where each Cohiba is not merely made but brought to life through the skilled hands of Habanos’s dedicated torcedores, or cigar rollers.
Witness the convergence of quality, craftsmanship, and tradition as we delve into the steps of creating the world’s most coveted cigar: Cohiba. From the selection of the finest leaves to the expert hands that roll them, every moment in El Laguito speaks to the soul of the Cuban people.
So, come along with me for an intimate glimpse into the sanctuary of cigar-making excellence, as we explore the embodiment of quality, craftsmanship, and tradition that is El Laguito.
🙏 Thank you to those who helped make this series possible:

Kirby I don’t think there are better videos out there that reflect the entire process of the Cuban cigars than your videos. What a great series of videos about the entire process of making the Cuban cigars. Thank you for all the work you have put in bringing these videos to us.

Thank you! Without question, a lot of work goes into not just the filming, but the editing as well. Not to mention to countless hours just in planning.
When I watch these videos it just makes me appreciate more and more the work that goes into the cigar I’m smoking at the moment. So much time, effort, manual labor and love goes into making these cigars.
Kirby “Extra” Allison at it again!
Great video and series as a whole. Thank you Kirby
All episodes are good but this one is on a different league, absolutely amazing
Absolute treat of an episode Kirby!
Great insights into the production of Cohiba, thank you very much! If I could criticise one point, it would be Kirby's questions and comments. He often repeats various phrases and asks very superficial questions even though the topic is much more interesting. I am aware that it is difficult to always have original questions ready in such an interview situation, but there are certain questioning techniques that you can learn and apply or certain questions that you can form into a script through targeted preparation. Just a small suggestion for improvement. I really enjoy your content and look forward to everything to come!

Relax, he's fine. Nobody's thinking about your miniscule nitpick accept someone who's overthinking a video which accomplishes exactly what it set out to accomplish. An authentic video with a most-excellent authentic atmosphere even the grand-nitpicker, in his own words, thoroughly enjoyed. I rest. And I slightly tease.

Sure, there is something to say for that and in time Kirby will find ways to express himself in many ways. Kirby is growing in his incredible journey all the time. But, repeating questions and phrases is actually fine, it invites the person being interviewed the give different answers to the same kind of question again and again, until the interviewer has been satisfied with all those beautiful answers. So don’t pay attention to the questions so much, pay attention to all the answers being triggered. We actually get more information this way.
I wish I could like this video twice! Amazing job. This whole Cuba series has been entertaining, enlightening and educational. Hats off to Kirby and the team.
This video offered valuable insights into Cohiba Cuban cigars, covering their history, craftsmanship, and significance in the industry. Thank you for sharing such valuable content.

Great job. Have had the tour 1 time and hope to get back in during my trip in August.
I haven’t smoked cigars before but I can definitely appreciate this tradition and the attention to detail & perfection. Thank you for recording and sharing this craft!!!
What a treat! Behind the scenes at the House of Mysteries!! Absolutely fantastic.
nice video I have ever seen, I learnt a lot about Cohiba, thank you
What an amazing production. Great tour of the famous El Laguito and capturing the essence of Cuba as well. Well done sir. I was saving this video for the last couple weeks to enjoy with a cigar. After seeing you light that I pulled out a lancero from my own stash to enjoy along with you. From 2004-2006 I made 7 trips to Cuba. Loved the people and culture and history. Just the feel of the place was something special. Like stepping off the plane and traveling back to the late 50's. The music, the artists, the coffee and of course the cigars are all something very special in Cuba. Cohiba is definitely my favorite brand. My personal favorites in order would be 1) Esplendido 2)Behike 52 3) Sig 4 4) A tie between the Robusto and Novedoso. IMO the Novedoso is just a longer robusto with an even richer finish. Non regular production Cohiba would be the 55th Anniversario. Just an amazing cigar. Only 14 left and I am limiting myself to one a year from now on. Definitely way over priced but also so good you really do have to have them in your stash so you pay the money. Nice to see you filming the boxing of these there as well. I noticed they were stamping with feb 23 codes. Was this footage all shot last year? Thank you again for producing such a high quality series. I am looking forward to the rest of it.
I want your wardrobe Kirby!! You're always immaculately turned out!
Mr. Kirby, your elegance and presentation are a delight of enormous craftsmanship. thanks so much
This is an amazing look into the premier Cuban cigar factory and how they make their cigars. I used to work for a cigar magazine in the '90s and I don't think I've ever seen such a detailed look into a Cuban cigar factory, let alone El Laguito. Extremely thorough and well-done. Thank you!

One of the best videos of the most famous and one of the most expensive cigars in the world. Unfortunately, for the people of Cuba, the profits the government of Cuba obtains with the sales of Habanos aren’t pass along to those who work hard in making a cigar. But you have to appreciate the dedication, traditions and the people who dedicate their lives in producing great Habanos. This has been an amazing video. Thanks Kirby.

I’m sure they are making an above average salary for what others are making, it’s all relative. Watching the time and efforts put into creating a cigar I would say the cost of a Cohiba cigar is well worth it. I was born in Africa and I know what an average African makes compared to what an American make or what folks make in their countries. I’m very sure they are happy doing what they do and what they earn. It’s all relative.

@@jdez0583 I’m sorry but Cuba isn’t the only dictatorship in the world. The only reason why Americans feel the way they do about Cuba is because we’re constantly told to hate Cuba. Because Cuba stood up against us we feel we have to put down the country forever until they toe the line. It’s the same has Syria, Afghanistan and every where else we perceive to call them our enemies because they refuse to be controlled. We might soon have our own orange dictator, he yearns to be a strong man and make the United States of of his sh!thole countries.

One thing you never see on these factory tours - making the boxes! To me they’re an important part and would love to see how some of their boxes are made. From the standard sliders to the posh Behike ones etc.
Awesome, video! Thanks for sharing ,Kirby👊💯
I had Cubans years ago back in the late 90's in Germany. Honestly can't remember if they made a great impression on me. With that said, just the sheer human involvement to craft the cigar, regardless of the maker, is impressive. Sure there are things all over that man creates, but what these rollers create more than just a good cigar are great memories with wonderful friends. What can stop time from passing like a cigar and good conversation?
Amazing experience, thanks.
