Crossing the old Roman bridge we start the path that going up takes us towards the centre of the canyon.
From above we see the Sarrabus mountains that surround the splendid route.
It is surprising how the power of the flowing water was able to furrow the hard granite of these mountains, creating the sinuous canyon on which the road rests.
After halfway, we move to the other side of the canyon. our road begins to climb, surrounded by vegetation, with wide curves that open up beautiful views over this part of the gorge.
