does any one know what happens to the hunter if one of dies, do they re spawn or do they only have one life, or what ever else, any reply would be much appreciated

After the first hunter gameplay, it showed the game for the ps3, xbox, and pc. But it said "hunter edition" only on the two consoles. Does that mean that this hunter mode will not be on the pc version? If not, then what is "hunter edition'?

imo a bow that shoots fire, electrical and standard arrows is pretty advanced. plus the fact that in can handle the draw strength of a nanosuit...

I got Crysis 2 and i loved it the graphics the maps the career and i have no doubt that this game will be a game of the year contender cant wait!

think about how the bow can be used in conjunction with the nano suit and how hard it could be pulled and with nano tech they could have a payload that would be a for sure kill if it hit

actually, guns are inadequate stealth weapons, as they are very loud (a silenced gun is very loud, contrary to what most movies would have you believe) while crossbows are very quiet.

If you didn't notice already, the nanosuit assimilated alcatraz into prophet... (the nanosuit turned alcatraz into prophet, so now alcatraz is just... a ghost of crysis 2)

Thats where teamwork comes... Use the weapons they give you to get the advancement and you can see them since there is a sligh distortion and light blue color from the cloak. And you have EMP grenades too. Meaning you cant just run around the field.

The trailer looks a lot more exciting than the gameplay. I wasn't expecting 5 minute rounds, but drawn out 20 minute battles for survival. Hopefully it will live up to expectations, when played with the full amount of players.

yeh and i think there should be more cell agents due to the fact that the hunters have invisibility insta kill bow etc etc because theres what 7 players on cell team its hard to go in different groups where as if there was 16 players 3 hunters 13 cell there would be about 3 different groups of cell and about one hunter too take care of each group instead of 5 hunters on like 4 cell agents mid game

At first I was gonna agree with you when I saw heard that everytime a C.E.L.L dies he becomes a hunter. Then I saw how short the time limit was. Now it sounds fun.

the CELL troopers remind me of Armachan and the hunters remind me of Replica troopers

There was water nearly every where so look for footsteps and they arnt COMPLETELY invisible because you can still vaguely see them :)

The hunter being over powered works cos you feel fear and always feel like theirs something watching

The cell get a grenade they can throw to make the Hunters visible

i really wished they had included team/instant action in it!

I think that the Cell team only has to survive for a minute or so to win. That's why the hunters are so powerful.

I was thinking the original Crysis 2 layout for energy: One bar that governs all four modes (Power, Armor, Invisibilty, Nanovision) that regenerates when none of the modes are being used. With the new layout, each mode has its own well of energy, so you can sprint across the map and jump to a high perch before turning invisible, with no drain on Stealth energy (as it is called in the IGN article). Extremely overpowered. And yes. CELL troopers should recieve some kind of enhanced Nanovision

I was at the Gamescom yesterday and played it... and there are like 5 rounds in one game... and the cell guys won 3 of them! It's actually not that hard to see them and with those "emp-grenades" you deactivate the suits for a while and the radius of them is quite large! So its made quite fair as I experienced it!

he doesnt die he still alive he comes back in crysis 3 and helps the new prophet or is this the old prophet i dunno but im sure.

Hunters are overpowered with that full invisible cloak it must be more "uninvisible" like the predator one

Exactly. Most people keep saying that the fact it's 2v14 makes up for the OP hunters. It is really annoying. What I had in mind for Hunter Mode was more akin to Counter-Strike or Crysis 2's Assault Mode. No respawns, all who die end up spectating the match. And to hell with the 2-minute timer. The game ends when either team is fully eliminated or CELL reaches the evacuation point and the VTOL extracts the team (or what's left of it).

exactly I dont see myself sittin through loading screens for a 2 minute game. Even if its in rounds, the drop in action in between rounds will really kill any rush you develop in the game...

Or turn them into animals who can roam about or go spectate; it's not like the gamemode is long by default. Hopefully some-sort of balance comes across. Even having the primary Hunters allowed to cloak while firing whilst the newcomers (secondaries) are weaker in that they can't stay cloaked while firing or sponge heavy-fire would be slightly better.

Wrong, Prophet put his memories into Alcatraz, he didn't become Prophet. Alcatraz is still alive and most deffinately kicking.

I was thinking of this too. And you could plan taktics and with your fellow hunter and epicly execute them all, or they kill you. And cell troopers could win too.

It maybe like Crysis 2, when you engaged cloak in that you glowed a very light blue and you were sort of blurry, I don't think it will be as overpowered as you may think :)

i hope they increase the time limit to around 5 mins because with 2 there isnt enough time to take the hunters down or to try and find somewhere to fight and survive
