Remaster = higher frame rate @60fps and higher resolution, up the 4k , better texture’s and lighting effects.

I think atmosphere is better in the original version

Having played both back-to-back. I have to say I prefer the look and feel of the PS3 version the best. The blue and orange hues make the game much more atmospheric.

The original looks like it's got a blue filter over everything or something, the remaster is much more colourful and they pop more.

If you are talking original pc version then it is ok, but if you are saying original console variants, bro/sis you seriously need some kind of eye surgery

Have not seen my pro go into supersampling mode when booting crysis 1 from trilogy..anyone else notice?? Set output to 720p lol and game plays best and its installed on an external ssd.. Not tried 2 or 3 yet.. Little disappointed 1 doesnt run better considering the number of times theyve re-released it.. Still enjoying it though

I like remaster more cause natural colors 10 times better.

Played crysis 2 remastered on PS4 for the first time this evening and I am really, really impressed. The lighting is great, the details and textures are impressive and the higher resolution makes everything nice and sharp, with superb antialiasing. Crysis 1 remastered is absolutely rubbish and looks dreadful but I'm so happy that 2 is way more impressive as a remaster.

Agreed. Literally came here to see what Crysis 2 was like, played a little on the ps3, glad it's so much better than the remaster of the 1st one. Played 10mins and immediately Uninstalled it. They could have done soooo much better

I play it this game on xbox 360, an It was a very good experience, an one of the worst FPS game i played and run very well atPS3/360 sistems.

The only game that looks better than its remastered. Like really, even crysis remastered was acceptable (still in many perspectives the original crysis was better), I see no difference except a few texture upgrades and worse lighting effects.

Look at 6:31 is it fully night time for some reason on the remaster because I don’t remember it turning night time 20 seconds later when you continue from escaping the boat.

KZread video quality is always compressed. You can clearly see the difference when playing it for real. The remaster looks amazing, almost lifelike

Just get a steam deck when it comes out I guess that’s your only way of getting into cheap pc gaming that’s actually half decent for the price.

@@Prowerexem you can get a entry level gaming laptop with better specs than steam deck for slightly more than 512gb version of steam deck. 64gb is simply not enough and if you aren't keen on having a handheld system a 1650 laptop would be a much more powerful and would be around the same price as steam deck

@@sarveshsivakumar6993it’s not all about specs i play on a Psone and I don’t really care if it’s a pixelated mess I usually like my games to at least run at 480p I played my Xbox 360 in 480p for 3 years I played my Psone in 360p and 240p
