Having the necromancer lick random objects is fantastic, it's definitely made me laugh. Having the ability to lick things should appear more often in games.

There is something you can lick in act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, and I STROINGLY recommend having Gale in your party for that

FFXIV sadly doesn't let you lick things often, but it *does* make a ton of jokes about your character constantly licking things they're handed, especially as a gatherer.

17:32 The crabs didn't do anything because Nix was on cooldown. Zap is also ranged, so I'm guessing you could use it from further away than right next to the enemy

The first time Jon goes to desecrate an alter, my partner and I changed "lick, lick, lick!". And he did, so it's good to know we all have the same sense of humor. Great game!

I love the idea of this game. I think I’m gonna get it myself, because it looks exactly like my type of game.

This game must have a pretty big database to ask kind of open ended questions. I would love to know what happens if you say tomato or durian for the fruit question.

You have to admire the nerve of the caged rat, antagonizing a party of undead who have both lightning and deadly crabs that would definitely get into the cage fairly readily.

I do not envy the people who will have to translate this game.

I like what Yahtzee said about how weird it is you and all your party members take up the same space and march in lock step “like they all used to be in the SS.” That joke is my only reference for this genre

Aww, I was hoping Jon would tell the gatekeeper eye "Pomegranate" as the last fruit, just to see if there was some unique dialogue.

Every time Jon came upon a new word to guess I was totally guessing along with him. Such fun to see if I can get it before him.

The way he figured out "zap" and "crabs" shows once again that while perception may be Jon's dump stat, intelligence certainly isn't.

next thing you know they'll be looting an alien space ship and clearing out castles with laser guns! If you enjoyed this sort of thing, Check out Epistory, a typing adventure game

Alex Trebek was notorious for licking things to perceive objects. It would freak out first time guests getting the back of their hand licked before a handshake. Trebek just needed to really believe that hand -- and by extension that person -- was really there. All those years of Jeopardy and answers always phrased as questions began to make the man question reality. However where his eyes and his ears began to lack confidence, Trebek's tastebuds could always be counted on. Some people questioned why he couldn't just *sniff* their hand instead but Trebek didn't live by anyone else's rules.

First impression of the game from Jon's initial description: "So it's gonna be Typing of the Dead, but with Legend of Grimrock"

That big rat is a very ... um, Australian sort of animal. And the rat telling you to say you're a robber - very Australian. I've been grinning like a loon over here. This game looks amusing.

Oh god i can hear it!

I saw "crypt" in the name, and a DM with creepy eyes in the thumbnail, and thought this was far quicker than I expected for an Inscryption sequel!

Astonishing voice acting, cool sound effects!

This has some really interesting game-play mechanics. I would love to see a dating sim or other adult game using similar mechanics for Jon to play on Valentines day.

I like to think of this as a medieval blockbusters with the necromancer being Bob. But funnier, and with licking things

This seems really fun though unless there is a freeze time during combat for my stupid hands I will have to skip it.

I watched about five minutes of this and bought the game. It's good. It's sort of Typing of the Dead meets Knightmare. I've only seen the one-off Knightmare revival with Stuart Ashen, but that's the vibe I got.

I stand corrected! Trap it is. But I got a good feeling about guard

Jab costs 0 souls and does 1 damage Murder costs 6 souls and does 1 damage without any of those damage-boost skills Jon keeps spending 6 souls instead of 0 souls for the same 1 damage

It's gonna be a sad day when this reaction feature gets replaced with AI.

Jon doesn't know how a dungeon crawler mixed with typing words looks like? I mean, it's not a new concept, we were making them since like the 70s.

Day 108 of requesting _Age of Mythology_ (A full playthrough if possible) So this is basically _Typing of the Dead_ but with some sort of creepy skull being a jerk. Why do I get the feeling that someone will try copying this with AI and fail horribly? It's like a horrifying version of _Dora the Explorer_
