i'm SO glad you're enjoying this series, thank you for taking the time to make these videos! every time your jaw dropped mine did too LMAO. i always appreciate your comedic timing with the editing, i've watched literally every reaction you've done and i wholeheartedly agree on sophie nélisse's acting. she has such a sad cry, like you can tell she really feels it all the way. the attempted abortion scene and jackie's death had tears STREAMING down my face one after the other. van is also my favourite character!!! i love how tender taissa and van are with each other. that "we're okay" hug... hand to my chest and audible "aw" misty is also batshit insane of course, but i am a misty fan for LIFE. A LIFER. i assumed that misty/nat was a popular ship but they're not even in the top THREE most popular ships under yellowjackets on ao3. i also just wanna throw in, if/when you might be looking for another series, i recommend arcane if you haven't already seen it

There's a bonus episode coming out soon, but because of the strikes we supported, season 3 isn't coming out until 2025

I SWEAR i thought i had already done the last one but i guess i didn't! since it got renewed for a 3rd season i might as well finish what i started...

i will PERISH on the hill that jackie absolutely didn't deserve what the other girls did to her, and frankly shauna was in the wrong. that is my chosen battleground >:0 (i wrote a alt!canon fic where jackie just barely survives that explores what i think she might've been feeling/thinking after being betrayed :0 and she has a kinda gay moment with nat bc they would have been SUCH a power couple)

@@glitching_in_gay oh absolutely, for sure! jackie didn't deserve it, but it was also very wrong place, wrong time for her, as the rest of the girls were creating their own community and society that she just couldn't fit in with. it's such an interesting commentary on isolation and otherization that happens in high school social groups !! look, i just think nat respects jackie a lot more than she lets on, and jacke could easily find a lot to like about nat beyond what she said in the pilot, but i'm also a #snackie stan so i'm very biased lmao!! i'm happy to share the fic link if anyone wants !! ^_^
