1st Match: Opponent went from 46 to -110 so total 156 damage. They had 103 toughness on the board, so even if they threw everyone under the bus they'd be at -7

I think the biggest problem was he would had to declare 103 blockers 1 by 1. I dont think he did the math, just let them pass. Imagine having to assign 28 blockers per creature.

If they could, yes. But LVD had a 28/28 flying Gnawbone and opponent only had 4 toughness with reach. Lvd could have won by attacking with Gnawbone alone

I could have a lot more scutes, but I still had the "auto order triggered abilities" option on since I was playing birgi earlier that day. Either way, Gnawbones was trouble anyways.

i've been waiting SO LONG for a mono green legendary creature like this and of course if WotC doesn't "print it more" it's price is going to just go up and up. They put this type of function of odds and ends cards like Garruk's Horde and the new Elven Chorus and they even did Ranger Class where you have to level it up to do the thing. This should be Green's "card advantage" mechanic going forward but also means either this legendary needs to be "printed more" or more other variations on this type of mechanic on other legendary creatures.

I remembering seeing you make a similar comment around a week ago, so to make sure you know - concession is the noun form of concede, in the same way e.g. admission is for admit. While it's mainly used in the more idiomatic phrase 'to make a concession' nowadays, that doesn't change the grammatical basis. A similar situation occurs with the verb commit, where the noun form is commission (which is indeed still used in legal contexts as 'commission of a crime' despite its everyday usages being completely different) The point is, LVD is using the word correctly, and I encourage you to dig deeper into it if you still feel like it's wrong.

Scute swarm is one of the dumbest design cards ever printed. This should be an alchemy only card. In paper is just super stupid trying to keep track of. Game 2: You love making me yell at my screen. Always play cost reduction first. First, it's harder to interact with and second it let's you double spell easier. If you had a bunch of elves and the choice was medallion or priest, priest might be better, but 90% go for reduction first.
