I have this same microwave and I love it!!! It makes leftover pizza taste great using the grill feature and yes even a grilled cheese came out perfect! Just make sure to put a little spray butter on the bread so you get that same great taste as if you fried it!

I have had a couple of these convection microwave ovens over the years. They are great. My kids always used them to cook everything in from sandwiches to pizza. We still have one and my last child who is 19 still uses it all the time lol

I'm glad that I found this cuz in the manual it doesn't explain how any of the settings worked. Now I know how to use at least this function, and what the metal plate and cooking rack is for. Thanks 👍

That is what i used to make when I lived alone and drank a lot. I called it an arm pit sandwich. Toast the bread, butter them and insert cheese and microwave for 20 sec.

I bought a Rangemate Pan from QVC, you're supposed to be able to cook and brown foods in the microwave. I've had it for over a year and haven't even tried it yet. Seeing this makes me want to dig it out. That's a cool microwave!

I just bought SAMSUNG 1.1 Cu Ft Countertop Microwave Oven w/ Grilling Element, Ceramic Enamel Interior, Auto Cook Options,1000 Watt, MG11H2020CT/AA, Stainless Steel, Black w/ Mirror Finish and I like it. I'm a huge Samsung product lover. so we'll see how long this one last. I had a Cuisinart microwave for about 12yrs untill it started popping and i threw it in the garbage the other day

What's a kwanchee grilled cheese sandwich?

Just a question on the maintenance issue if you may. How are you going to clean the inside ceiling if there are cheese gotten behind the heat bars? Do you think they can be taken down for that purposes?

I don't think I would remove them. Just wash around them if it gets dirty.

This is a microwave with Browning elements. You can make pizza but there is no bake function. Thanks for watching!

if you applied the microwave for 20 seconds after the grilling the cheese would have melted and the bread still toasted

It would be faster done in a smaller toaster oven. Leave the microwave to heat up food.

I wondered the same thing! In the video he has no glove on or even an oven mitten, Nothing just his bare hands! I thought to myself, shouldn’t that be too hot to touch when coming out of the microwave?

I did this but the metal rack was hot as hell - how did you grab that?

I'll have to watch again as this was a while ago. I was using the special rack that came with it. You know this is a browning microwave so it is made different than regular microwaves. Thanks for watching.

The purpose of a microwave isn’t for speed. It’s just for the all around more conveniency of not having to cook certain foods the traditional way.

Ten minutes? It only takes 5 minutes to make a grilled cheese sandwich on the stovetop!

Man don't quit your day job. A Pannini maker is the real way to go or at least fry it in a skillet. It's much quicker and better.

I never put ketchup a day in my life on a grilled cheese sandwich. Sounds weird. But the beauty of food is that we can do whatever we want.

WOW....waste of time, fast grilled cheese, toaster for the bread, butter then in the microwave for 30 secs to melt the cheese.

I can make a grill cheese on my stovetop in a cast iron pan with a lid in 5 mins. Put both pieces of bread face-down and cover both pieces with cheese, and cover the pan, then merge the halves after 5 mins. Congratulations you just wasted an extra 5 mins in your microwave ...

Yeah, crunchy but nasty 🤢. You have to use real butter not spray butter or olive oil.
