Its not just a microwave. Its a microwave convection oven which have both the functions of a microwave and an oven(at convecrion mode).

If you include about half cup (110 ml) of curd in marinating ingredient, the chicken piece would be very soft and juicy. I always marinate chicken in curd with other spices.

@@nidhinmsg if using the convection oven function, it should be fine. As long as the pan is all metal. Wood or polymer handles would burn.

When the chicken goes into the oven all parts are exposed to the same temperature. Without this, the chicken will cook unevenly and parts that take longer to cook will take much longer, causing pieces like the legs and wings to overcook and dry out. Exposing the chicken to the preheated oven let's it cook faster and more evenly. This is true of most items that are cooked in an oven, not just chicken.

Preheating is done before putting the items to be cooked.... so why did you keep the chicken at the time of preheating....

There should be a grill option in your oven.. my recipe book for oven company says to press grill button and set timer

That's convection mode. IFB doesn't have separate button to select only convection.

preheating is used for heat up the oven before cooking. just like we preheat oil in a tawa before cooking anything in it. So your conception is wrong. anyway, recipe is good.

Actually this video is nonsense....because while pre-heating with chicken inside for 20 minutes and then grilling for 10min made the chicken so so hard that it was difficult to bite and the chicken became so shrunk that the meat stuck to the bone.....

You have to pre heat via convection oven without the chicken in it, then after 20min of pre heating turn the grill mode and put your chicken 😋😋
