Crackling Pork Perfection!
Get ready to embark on a sizzling adventure with my irresistible Crackling Pork recipe! Transforming humble pork skin into crispy, golden perfection has never been this tantalizing. Join me in the kitchen and let's create culinary magic together!
Ingredients:
2 lbs of pork skin
1 cup of water
2 tbsp of vinegar
Vegetable oil for frying
1 spoonful of salt for cleaning
Step-by-Step Magic:
Prepare the Pork Skin: Dive into your culinary journey by meticulously cleaning the pork skin. Sprinkle a spoonful of salt and rub it gently to remove impurities, ensuring a pristine base for our crackling masterpiece.
Bath of Brilliance: In a pot, immerse the cleaned pork skin in a luxurious bath of water and vinegar. Let it soak, absorbing the flavors and tenderness that will elevate your crackling pork to gourmet heights.
The Art of Patience: Allow the pork skin to marinate, absorbing the delightful essence. Patience is the secret ingredient here; the longer you wait, the more sensational the results will be.
Dazzling Transformation: Once marinated to perfection, gently pat the pork skin dry, revealing its newfound plumpness. The stage is set for the ultimate crackling experience!
Culinary Alchemy: Heat up the vegetable oil until it shimmers with anticipation. Carefully place the pork skin into the hot embrace of the oil, and witness the magical transformation unfold. Listen to the symphony of sizzles as your crackling pork dances into crispy, golden glory.
Golden Grandeur: Watch as the pork skin crisps up, turning into a masterpiece of culinary art. When it reaches a heavenly golden hue, retrieve it from the oil, letting it drain excess glory.
Savor the Victory: Behold your creation - a crackling pork sensation that's crunchy, flavorful, and downright addictive. Let your taste buds revel in the crispy perfection you've just achieved.
Join the Culinary
Come, let's make kitchen memories together! Grab your apron, and let the crackling symphony begin. Prepare for a culinary adventure that will leave you craving more!

my method is simple...cut most of the fat away leaving only a very thin layer of fat under the skin (about 1mm or less) then place the skin into the oven with the fat layer on top. Bake it until the layer of fat melts. It will fry the skin along the way. after 20 minutes turn turn the skin with the skin now on top...bake for another 15 minutes. During this time you can hear cracking sound. It would be done by then
