Dr. Michael Usi is the runningmate for the UTM President, Dr. Saulos Chilima. He is a fairly new entrant in politics in Malawi although he is no stranger to political commentary. He has been part of an enduring television soap that highlights some of the society ills and the character that he created, Manganya, is known for being critical of politicians by poking fun at them.
In the program he talks about his appointment as running mate, adjusting his character from a popular comedian to a politician, his academic achievements and his social life.
